This is hands down the best smoked meat sandwich I have ever had. I've had many in my life, especially around Montreal, & nothing tops this one. The bread is fresh, the meat is incredibly tender, & it practically falls apart. It's also not overloaded with moisture, so the bread stays perfectly intact instead of getting soggy. It's honestly an unbelievable sandwich. I would absolutely drive back from Ottawa just for this.
I also want to mention the fries, because they were some of the best I've had. They were soft on the inside, still crunchy on the outside, & packed with flavour. They were so good they didn't even need ketchup or any dips. The coleslaw was fresh & had a really nice kick to it as well.
The restaurant itself is very clean & has nice seating, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the staff were very friendly & welcoming.

Seriously the best smoked meat in Quebec. Their meat is amazing. The staff is super professional & nice. I'd totally recommend this to anyone who wants good meat for a good price.
Si vous cherchez un excellent smoked meat à Laval, c'est l'endroit où aller sur le boulevard Dagenais ! La viande est savoureuse, parfaitement épicée & fondante. Au-delà de la nourriture, l'accueil est incroyablement chaleureux, on s'y sent tout de suite bien. C'est un commerce de quartier comme on les aime, où la qualité est constante. Une superbe adresse que je recommande fortement pour les amateurs de déli !

I visited Achoura Deli on Monday, February 16, 2026, with a friend who regularly drives all the way from Brossard just to enjoy their food - & now I understand why!
We both had the Reuben, which was absolutely delicious. The smoked meat paired perfectly with Thousand Island sauce, sauerkraut, & Swiss cheese, along with crispy fries & refreshing black cherry soda - everything was perfect. I also ordered a smoked meat plate & a large smoked meat poutine for my family, & the poutine was amazing. It had a kind of pepper sauce that I absolutely loved - one of the best poutines I've had so far!
I even had the chance to chat with the owner, who confirmed that their brisket is AAA Angus Halal from BC (if not mistaken). Compared to other spots, everything at Achoura is truly homemade from scratch - from the spicing, to smoking, to steaming - & it really shows in the flavor & quality.
The restaurant is also impressively clean, well-organized, & has lots of parking space, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The service is excellent: the staff are friendly, welcoming, & happy to make great recommendations. The atmosphere is simple, warm, & inviting, making it a place you want to return to.
Definitely a top spot in Laval for a quick meal without compromising on quality. I highly recommend them!
Walked in & immediately felt like I was meant to be here. Abdurahman is an absolute legend with hospitality. The food spoke for itself, the quality was impeccable! We ordered the Classic Smoked Meat Sandwich Combo (Number 1) & the Rueben Sandwich (Number 4). We also ordered the Smoked Meat Poutine to take home! The place was spotless & the ambience was nice & cozy. Highly recommend if you want real authentic HALAL Smoked Meat! Will definitely be coming back again to try the Steak & more smoked meat!!

I visited Ashoura Deli for the first time & ordered a smoked meat sandwich. I usually go to Montreal when I want this kind of sandwich, but a friend recommended this place-& it was a great recommendation.
The smoked meat was delicious, full of flavor, & very well prepared. What really made the experience special was the person who served me. He was incredibly kind & welcoming, invited me to see the smoked meat & how it's sliced, & even generously offered me a good portion to taste.

The food & the owners are absolutely wonderful. We ordered the Reuben & the smoked meat poutine, & both were outstanding. The smoked meat was some of the best we've ever had perfectly seasoned, tender, & incredibly flavorful. You can truly taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients. The owner prepares everything with care, using clean, fresh components, & it shows in every bite. On top of that, the owner's kindness & passion elevate the experience even further. It's rare to find a place where the food & the hospitality are equally memorable, but Achoura Deli delivers on both fronts. A definite must-visit for anyone who loves great smoked meat & genuine, heartfelt service.
