This is hands down the best smoked meat sandwich I have ever had. I've had many in my life, especially around Montreal, & nothing tops this one. The bread is fresh, the meat is incredibly tender, & it practically falls apart. It's also not overloaded with moisture, so the bread stays perfectly intact instead of getting soggy. It's honestly an unbelievable sandwich. I would absolutely drive back from Ottawa just for this.
I also want to mention the fries, because they were some of the best I've had. They were soft on the inside, still crunchy on the outside, & packed with flavour. They were so good they didn't even need ketchup or any dips. The coleslaw was fresh & had a really nice kick to it as well.
The restaurant itself is very clean & has nice seating, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the staff were very friendly & welcoming.

Walked in & immediately felt like I was meant to be here. Abdurahman is an absolute legend with hospitality. The food spoke for itself, the quality was impeccable! We ordered the Classic Smoked Meat Sandwich Combo (Number 1) & the Rueben Sandwich (Number 4). We also ordered the Smoked Meat Poutine to take home! The place was spotless & the ambience was nice & cozy. Highly recommend if you want real authentic HALAL Smoked Meat! Will definitely be coming back again to try the Steak & more smoked meat!!

I visited Ashoura Deli for the first time & ordered a smoked meat sandwich. I usually go to Montreal when I want this kind of sandwich, but a friend recommended this place-& it was a great recommendation.
The smoked meat was delicious, full of flavor, & very well prepared. What really made the experience special was the person who served me. He was incredibly kind & welcoming, invited me to see the smoked meat & how it's sliced, & even generously offered me a good portion to taste.
Amazing food, great quality, & outstanding service. I truly loved the experience & will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The juiciest & most tender HALAL Steak you can taste in MTL, feels like butter melting in your mouth 🤤🤤🤤 Crème de la Crème.
Loved their specialty Fries & at last but for sure not least the Smoked Meat Sandwich is the cheey on the top
Excellent little deli in Laval. Classic smoked meat sandwich, Rueben sandwich & smoked meat poutine are all excellent. Portions are large & will fill you up.

10/10 littéralement. C'est maintenant la 4e fois que je viens à ce restau & c'est absolument délicieux. Sandwich classique à la viande de fumée, le Ruben, la poutine ou encore le burger (my fave), y'en a pour tous les goûts & you'll leave satisfied! Bonus : le Staff est super sweet & it's halal. At this point RUN don't walk. Will def come for a fifth time
Before coming here, I saw some mixed reviews on social media. but the owner was super nice & clearly passionate about what he does. My friends & I tried the Reuben sandwich & the poutine I'd rate the overall food an 8/10. Besides that, the service & vibes were great. Definitely worth a visit.
Smoked meat was so good especially Sandwich N4 omg & the poutine also took fries fresh & crispy overall it the food was amazing & the place is very clean highly recommended 👌👌
We were looking for Halal smoked meat sandwiches during our trip to Montreal & ended up driving all the way to Achoura deli in laval. & I must say it was totally worth the drive. The staff was really welcoming & the smoked meat sandwiches tasted amazing. Poutine was also a hit. Would love to try them again next time we visit Montreal.

Amazing Halal Montreal-style smoke meat sandwiches in Laval! Very satisfied of the combo sandwich I took! They prepare & cure the meat in-house from what I've been told. I would recommend this place for Muslims who want to try Montreal-style smoked meat. Good place to go with group of friends or even family!
Ashoura Deli is an absolute gem! The smoked meat sandwiches are incredible - packed with flavor & perfectly prepared. But the real star is the Reuben sandwich… hands down the Sandwich of the Year! This is a must-visit spot & easily my recommendation of the year. You won't be disappointed!
I came to try Achoura Del after a friend recommended it, since I mentioned I love smoked meat but I'm picky about the taste. Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations-it's even better than the spot I used to go to before! The smoked meat is packed with flavor, tender, & perfectly done.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! On top of that, they keep introducing new smoked meat sandwiches, which makes it exciting to come back & try something different each time. Definitely a must-visit for smoked meat lovers.
