I visited Achoura Deli on Monday, February 16, 2026, with a friend who regularly drives all the way from Brossard just to enjoy their food - & now I understand why!
We both had the Reuben, which was absolutely delicious. The smoked meat paired perfectly with Thousand Island sauce, sauerkraut, & Swiss cheese, along with crispy fries & refreshing black cherry soda - everything was perfect. I also ordered a smoked meat plate & a large smoked meat poutine for my family, & the poutine was amazing. It had a kind of pepper sauce that I absolutely loved - one of the best poutines I've had so far!
I even had the chance to chat with the owner, who confirmed that their brisket is AAA Angus Halal from BC (if not mistaken). Compared to other spots, everything at Achoura is truly homemade from scratch - from the spicing, to smoking, to steaming - & it really shows in the flavor & quality.
The restaurant is also impressively clean, well-organized, & has lots of parking space, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The service is excellent: the staff are friendly, welcoming, & happy to make great recommendations. The atmosphere is simple, warm, & inviting, making it a place you want to return to.
Definitely a top spot in Laval for a quick meal without compromising on quality. I highly recommend them!

From the outside, Achoura Deli might not immediately catch your eye but don't let that fool you. Step inside & you're welcomed into a warm, inviting space where the real magic happens. The food & the owners are absolutely wonderful. We ordered the Reuben & the smoked meat poutine, & both were outstanding. The smoked meat was some of the best we've ever had perfectly seasoned, tender, & incredibly flavorful. You can truly taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients. The owner prepares everything with care, using clean, fresh components, & it shows in every bite. On top of that, the owner's kindness & passion elevate the experience even further. It's rare to find a place where the food & the hospitality are equally memorable, but Achoura Deli delivers on both fronts. A definite must-visit for anyone who loves great smoked meat & genuine, heartfelt service.
Before coming here, I saw some mixed reviews on social media. but the owner was super nice & clearly passionate about what he does. My friends & I tried the Reuben sandwich & the poutine I'd rate the overall food an 8/10. Besides that, the service & vibes were great. Definitely worth a visit.
Ashoura Deli is an absolute gem! The smoked meat sandwiches are incredible - packed with flavor & perfectly prepared. But the real star is the Reuben sandwich… hands down the Sandwich of the Year! This is a must-visit spot & easily my recommendation of the year. You won't be disappointed!
J'adore le smoked meat, sûrement essayé plus de 100 diff restaurants au Québec qui offre ce plat & je peux dire avec certitude, que ce smoked meat, est LE meilleur smoked meat du Quebec. Omg complètement fou, les saveurs, tout fait maison, Angus AAA. Le Reuben était aussi incroyable avec sa sauce maison. Finalement le propriétaire était la à nous servir & est hyper gentil & fier de son art. Svp allez goûter à ça & encourager un vrai maître de son art vous allez pas le regretter.
J'ai essayé plusieurs restos de smoke meat, & aucun arrive à la cheville de Achoura Deli. Le smoke meat original & le Reuben sont incroyables, les frites sont croustillantes, c'est certain que je reviens WOW

Small portions. Regular sandwich was ok. I kind of still prefer Schwartz & dunns but the Reuben here is the excellent. Very unique sauce & flavourful so I would recommend the Reuben with the swirly coloured bread.
