Don't stress about taking turns-there's no real system. If the person making the sandwiches knows someone who came & ordered after you, even though you were waiting first, they'll still give your sandwich to them-especially if it's the same order as yours. I ordered a kafta sandwich, & was really looking forward to try it for the first time, expecting to have hummus in the sandwich. After I left, I found out they forgot to add hummus or maybe they gave me someone else's order. Guy who is handling the sandwiches, his head is not in the game. Unfocused = disappointed clients.
My favorite spot for shish taouk sandwiches. I've been coming here for over 20 years & even though I've moved away, I try to stop by here whenever I'm in town.
We ordered 1/2 kg of grilled mix. The taste was good, but compared to other places, the food here was more expensive. We paid $38 plus tax for this plate ( small skewers ), while at another restaurant we paid $27 for a mix kebab that included 4 skewers lamb, chicken, beef , salad, rice, hummus, bread, grilled tomato & garlic sauce.
Excellente boucherie, qualité incroyable, service impeccable! Vous avez un BBQ, c'est l'endroit idéal pour la viande mariné, déjà prête pour la cuisson. Bon appétit!

It was the first restaurant I try by recommendation of a local. It was a good experience & was my first time trying camel meat. Really amazing experience. I didn't give 5 stars because I want to try more places before a final verdict.
i have been going to abu elias for about 4-5 years, i have to say i noticed a big drop in quality in my last visit. the portions are smaller, the prices are higher. we asked for a plate of raw ground meat & i wa forgotten. if at least it tasted good... my fillet mignon sandwich was tough, tasted old to me.... very dissapointed. at this point, i'd rather give my money to a big chain like boustan or basha
