We had a very disappointing experience during our last visit. When we arrived, we waited about 30 minutes just to place our order while several staff members were busy doing their makeup & not paying attention to customers. Eventually we had to go & ask someone ourselves because nobody came to the table.
After we finally ordered, the service continued to be very disorganized. Some items were forgotten or came very late, & overall the staff seemed uninterested in providing proper service.
Our bill ended up being around $400, & normally with a bill like that you expect a certain level of professionalism & attention to customers. Unfortunately, that was not the case during this visit.
What concerned us the most was being told that we could not skip the tip. From our understanding, tipping should be optional unless a service charge is clearly included in the bill. Being pressured to leave a tip after such poor service felt very uncomfortable & unprofessional.
The most disappointing part is that I actually used to really like this place & have visited it before. That's why this experience was so surprising & upsetting. After what happened, I honestly don't know how to feel about coming back, which is unfortunate because I genuinely enjoyed this place in the past.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously & looks into what happened, because it would be sad to see a place people used to enjoy lose customers because of service like this.
Je souhaite partager mon expérience chez Arabesque. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas du tout apprécié le service. L'ambiance m'a semblé très axée sur l'argent & j'ai eu l'impression d'être surfacturé : après avoir payé, j'ai remarqué que des articles que je n'avais pas commandés figuraient sur la facture. De plus, au moment de régler, on m'a indiqué qu'un pourboire minimum de 15 % était attendu, ce que j'ai trouvé très déplacé. Globalement, je suis reparti déçu & je n'ai pas l'intention d'y retourner.
Gérant qui te parle comme si tu lui dois de l'argent. Door girl qui tient la jaquette comme si c'est un sac de patates. Une formation au personnel serait une très bonne idée.
