The cafe was not very busy & it took around 40 minutes for our breakfast. & was about 15 minutes before they even noticed we hadn't received our black drip coffee yet. The menu sounds amazing, but I don't think the staff are capable of even making many of the things on the menu. The avocado toast was horrible, unseasoned with cold, soft bread. A sense of urgency would be good here. The music & overall ambiance is amazing, the art in the restaurant is stunning, however some of the things hanging could use a good dusting.View more
Strolled in at night, ordered strawberry Manitoba, which was amazing. Also tried their vegan curry dish, it was surprisingly good. One of the guests sitting next to us told us he comes there for this dish regularly. Great place for anytime of the day. We plan on coming back another time for breakfast.View more
Awesome atmosphere! Although I feel like this restaurant is more known for their breakfast food, their dinner was equally as delicious! Highly recommended, & don't forget to grab a smoothie!View more
This our favourite breakfast/lunch in MTL. Everything is high quality, affordable & delicious. Staff is very friendly. Can't recommend more!View more
I had the most amazing Eggs Benedict at this breakfast bistro! The hollandaise sauce was perfectly balanced, & the sausages were crispy & satisfying. The portions are generous, & the bowl of fruit was refreshing. We also tried the iced lattes & iced chai with almond milk, both of which were delicious. They provide a variety of sauces on the table & free self-serve water. We were in town for three days & came here every morning because the food was exceptional. The decor is an eclectic mix of art, & the music is both relaxing & cool. I've officially marked this place as a favorite!View more
The food, for the price, is phenomenal. Especially the sandwiches, baked goods, & café. The atmosphere/vibes is impeccable. I feel like this is the only place where you drink: eat breakfast, lunch, dinner & dessert, & drink coffee or wine, go on a casual date, study, or hangout, all at one location. Music is good too.View more
The most underrated restaurant in Montreal!!! Everything here is amazing, the food is delicious they have breakfast lunch & dinner, the vibes are immaculate, the decor is so cool & the music is fun & chill. Masha served us & was super nice. Will be recommending this place to everyone I know. We got the Van Gogh panini & New York crepe & the portions were generous, cost us less than 20$ per person with coffee & a smoothie!View more
a really cute spot that is easily missed due to the construction next door. there are neon signs all over the front, but inside is a whimsical space filled with decorative oddities/trinkets. order & pay at the counter. food will be served to you at your table. came here on a tuesday morning for breakfast. it was fairly empty. the service did take quite a bit as there was only one person who seemed to be working. ordered the shashuka (ok. very heavy on tomatoes), the strawberry chocolate crepe (ate it all), & the van gogh panini (a good light healthy option as it was barely seasoned) all in all, i didn't hate it. the atmosphere is what im mostly basing this review on. perhaps i will try other dishes the next time i come. i will say that the bread is super good.View more
5 senses is a beautiful place to grab breakfast, read, & people watch as pedestrians walk down St. Catherine's street. Internet was not readily available & the salad was slightly underwhelming but I will return.View more

The food was excellent. Coffee some of the best I had in Montreal this trip. Had breakfast here...great variety on the plate - baguette so good, wonderful cheese & confiture. Huge selection. Eclectic & funky atmosphere. We'd have gone here often if didn't discover on our last day in Montreal!
