Le 49th Parallel Micro-Torréfacteur Cafe ouvre ses portes à Montréal à son tout premier emplacement hors de la Colombie-Britannique à l'été 2021. Trouver et créer cet espace a été un processus long, parfois difficile mais toujours intéressant, qui a pris plus d'un an !
L'espace lui-même, son emplacement au cœur du Vieux-Montréal et l'histoire du bâtiment ont constitué un attrait évident. Il s'agissait d'un travail d'amour de la part de toutes les personnes impliquées dans le projet, de l'entrepreneur au designer - tout le monde s'est uni pour préserver le charme de l'ancien bâtiment avec ses briques et sa maçonnerie de pierres centenaires exposées, tout en lui donnant vie avec un design rétro élégant.
Notre quatrième Café propose le café 49th que tout le monde connaît et adore, le menu de beignets Lucky's revisité avec des classiques québécois réimaginés et une cuisine complète proposant des hamburgers aux œufs pour le petit-déjeuner et des offres de brunch saisonnières (à venir).

The menu offers a wide variety of doughnuts & toasts, each one more tempting than the last. The flavors were fresh, well-balanced, & beautifully presented. The highlight for us was the coffee-rich, smooth, & expertly brewed. It's clear that they take their craft seriously, making every sip a delight. First time going there & not the last. The mocha was sooo good, rich & creamy. The donuts are definitely the highlight, probably the best donuts ive had. The strawberry frosted one was delicious, it tasted like fresh strawberries. Also loved the cinnamon cruller. Going back early to try more!!!Voir plus

The pricing was excellent, especially considering the high quality of the food. The café itself was spotless & had a modern, inviting ambiance that made the experience even better. Beautiful & big cafe, the staff was nice, my coffee was delicious, & the donuts looked fresh, good, & there weren't any flies near them! They also had munchkins that were reasonably priced.Voir plus

Excellent coffee but on the expensive side, almost 8$ for a cortado, which is much more than other coffees places around. They have also fresh pastries from the bakery in the back. They have a lot of places to work or study with plugs everywhere, they also have a great terrace! Overall its a great place!!Voir plus

We stopped by for a quick bite for breakfast/brunch. They only have a few items for dining, but it was still worth the visit. The coffee was fantastic, & the breakfast items (mainly breakfast sandwiches) were yummy. The donuts were also delicious: perfectly soft & not too sweet. They were also massive! We saw them being made fresh in-house. The space is bright & airy with a decent amount of seating, but it can get busy. There was a line when we went, but it moved fairly quickly.Voir plus

I’m not normally a beignet person but this place is the exception.
49th parallel has excellent beignets, every day they have a few specials which are difficult to resist. Delicious, fresh & with flavours you won’t find anywhere else, their beignets are a must in Montreal.
Their sandwiches are also quite good.
