We stopped on our way through Montreal & enjoyed some frozen fruit popsicles in unique flavours - perfect for a hot summer day as well as a variety of macaroons (so delicious!) Worth the stop for sure!
The perfect place to get some maple syrup & maple candies as gifts. Also I found some Montréal-specific post cards there, with cool designs.
Je trouve que les prix de beaucoup de marchand sont très élevés.
Je sais que certains produits sont bio etc. Mais ce n'est plus le même marché...
Beware of the Pastel de nata counter at this location. I was waiting to buy some when I saw the girl who was serving them pick at her nose before serving a customer before me. I had to leave in disgust.
Good variety mostly vegetables. Would have been nice to find cold cuts or meats. But overall it was great.
Strolling through Marché Jean-Talon, you can't help but feel the heartbeat of Montreal. 🍎✨
Whether you're hunting for the crispest Quebec apples, artisanal cheeses, or just a bouquet of fresh flowers to brighten your day, this place is a total feast for the senses. Nestled in the heart of Little Italy, it's not just a market-it's a community tradition that has been bringing the'country to the city' since 1933.
Did you know? 🏟? Long before it became one of North America's largest open-air markets, the grounds of Marché Jean-Talon were actually a lacrosse field for the'Shamrock Lacrosse Grounds' club! Today, instead of dodging lacrosse sticks, you're dodging the delicious aromas of fresh crêpes & roasting spices. 🌶?🥐
There's nothing like losing yourself in the colorful aisles & chatting with the local producers who make our food scene so special.

Great little market something for everone, a clean, few staff walking about.the pricing is roughly the same in the area express checkout & done.
Superbe marché, beaux & bons produits. Mais je le pensais plus vivant.
Bustling market with mostly produce & local products. Lots of vendors. Not touristy, though plenty of Maple syrup for sale
Wow!
L'environnement... on s'y sent tellement bien. ^^ Les fruits, les légumes... J'ADORE !
Best market in Canada. Guaciale from Capitol made an awesome carbonara
An epicurean dream 💭 … what more to say ? Every time I hear the name a beautiful image of a whole foie gras flashes through my mind 🤯
