Nous aimons ce restaurant qui offre habituellement de très bon plats. Toutefois, notre dernière visite nous a laissé très déçu de la nourriture, plusieurs éléments du menu n'étaient plus disponible, dont le boeuf, plus de frites…. La cuisson n'était pas conforme à ce qui avait été demandé. Nous sommes repartis déçus.

Bread bread bread bread bread bread bread bread. Expected this to be an overpriced date spot but was pleasantly surprised. If given the choice between white and brown bread, I'd take white. Luckily, I wasn't offered a choice. The triplex sandwich was great. The filtered coffee was underwhelming.

Very rude staff including their manager. We tried to get a table and they were very rude keeping us waiting and talking in a condescending manner of where we must stand and that we must not sit yet they ignored us at the entrance. Disgusting repulsive attitude, tone lacking tact and 0 respect. They have no clue what customer services is.

Institution in the West Island Visited for lunch a few weeks ago, one of the best places for lunch in the West Island, The octopus dish I had is one of the best to date and the braised veal cheeks were absolutely amazing. Thank you Chef Stefano for hospitality.

Tres mauvaise experience.Le patron es un homme grateux,mechant et avide.jai l'habitude d'arreter prendre quelque chose a boire ou manger pendant ma marche avec mon amie.Cette fois jattendais pour commander quand il a refuser l'acces a la toilette a mon amie sous pretexte quelle n'avais rien acheter aujourdhui(meme ci elle m'accompagne et que moi je commande).UN homme totalement inhumain,qui veux ton argent, mais qui a egalement refuse 1 verre d'eau a un homme malade meme ci ses amis avais passer une commande...NE PAS ENCOURAGER CE GENRE D'INDIVIDUE!...DE plus cafe degoutant(vieille eau de vaisselle).

Had an incredible dinner here the other night. Outstanding food and service. The kebbe naye was fantastic, as was the mixed player. The guy waiting on us, the son of the original owners, I believe, could not have been nicer. He spent time speaking with us and was very nice to my young nephew - even brought him a special little treat after dinner!! We'll definitely be back again.

Honestly, these were some of the worst fries I've ever had. They were dark, greasy, and completely lacked any crunch-just soft and mushy. Most of the pieces in the basket were weirdly short and stubby, like I was given the leftovers from the bottom of the fryer. Definitely not worth the money. The burger is just average.

Ermitage is one of those places you almost want to keep to yourself. It feels like stepping into a cozy, candlelit home-quiet, warm, and a little nostalgic. Everything is homemade, and you can really taste it. The food is rich, comforting, and unpretentious, and the desserts are absolutely worth saving room for (trust me). It's not trendy or flashy-it's better than that. It's personal, intimate, and just… special. Perfect if you want a slow, beautiful dinner that actually feels like an experience. Ermitage est le genre d'endroit qu'on a presque envie de garder secret. On a l'impression d'entrer dans une maison chaleureuse, éclairée à la bougie - calme, intime, avec une touche nostalgique. Tout est fait maison, et ça se goûte vraiment. La cuisine est riche, réconfortante, sans prétention, et les desserts valent absolument le détour (croyez-moi). Ce n'est pas un endroit tendance ou tape-à-l'oeil - et c'est justement ça qui le rend spécial. C'est personnel, intime, et tout simplement… unique. Parfait pour un dîner lent et agréable qui devient une vraie expérience. Such a great experience-Nana and Galia were incredible. We felt so well taken care of, we came back the next day. The soup with homemade pasta and mushrooms was so comforting, loved the little pierogi on the side, and the braised goose leg with cranberry sauce and grilled vegetables was absolutely delicious. We finished with blinchiki au fromage for dessert-light, sweet, and the perfect ending.

Where do I begin. Eating many of the dishes was a hassle. Reaching around tree branches like I'm Tarzan, cutting and dividing things up ourselves. I see you're going for'the experience' and I'd be okay with that as long as'the taste' was also spectacular and it wasn't for the most part. The good: the lobster bisque, the lobster tail, and the brioche. These three are the only reason why this isn't a 1 star. They were the only moments where I and the rest of the table were truly satisfied. Food presentation was decent as well (only what was in the regular plates, not the other stuff hanging off branches and clothes lines and such). Now as for why it's not a 5 star: - The sourdough breads, cold, stale, tough and rubbery. Maybe fresh out the oven it'd be nice but the staff had to put his whole body into cutting this loaf like a dentist pulling out a wisdom tooth. The brioche overshadowed these other breads incredibly so. - The venison main course - (oh, deer) had great presentation but taste was beyond disappointing. What did this poor deer do to deserve this fate? Flavorless spongy small bites of meat in a one-note sauce and more foam. Speaking of foam, why is there so much foam in these dishes? I've never seen this much foam even at the base of Niagara Falls. I'm 80% air now after this meal. - Overly sweet, one-note desserts, again disappointing. The apple looked great but tasted like mushy baby food inside. - Most of the crispy little tart bites, forgettable - the oysters were so overly decorated I was eating it for quite a while until I realized I hadn't eaten the oyster itself underneath At the end of the day, taste is above all. You can have creativity, theatrics, and wildly varied ingredients but simplifying things down a bit and focusing on quality would help a lot here. I would like every dish to blow my mind. And I don't mean that every dish has to be the most flavorful, rich, intense thing. I've had subtle dishes at other restaurants that have been incredible. I encourage you to thoroughly test this out in the kitchen when devising these dishes. Have these dishes each individually blown your minds somehow? Also, why is the entire city of Montreal in this restaurant? No wonder the staff seemed overworked. The various dish arrangements and gadgets and incredients combined with how many people they have to coordinate and serve at any given time seems like a recipe for disaster. Some tables were extremely loud. Again, simplicity. Fewer people, better ambiance, simpler, more delicious menu.

Ordered'Le Classique' for brunch. It was nothing special, some parts tasted bad but itswhat you get for cheap food. However I started feeling bad as soon as I left the place, like the food wasn't adjusting in my stomach. Ended up with a really bad food poisoning. Was my first meal of the day and I had nothing else the entire day so I'm pretty sure. Still kinda sick and writing this from the toilet 5 in the morning. Hope I get better.

If you're looking for a festive (they had Christmas lights lit) environment,to have quick draft or pint...then this place is for you 😁. I was there to have supper with friends. They chose this place, I personally prefer a more upscale establishment. If you like burgers and fries.. nachos.. chicken wings,then you'll love this place. Our serving girl was young and polite, but failed bring napkins or cutlery before our entree arrived.😞 .lastly they didn't have Modelo or Heineken, which I feel, for a pub/restaurant is a major fail.
