Endroit très agréable mais peu adéquat pour les personnes à mobilité réduite ( déambulateur) car peu d'espaces entre les tables et les bancs d'église peu adapté. Il est à noter que le rapport qualité-prix est parfait. Les mets sont bons. Le service est excellent, convivial et on répond bien à la clientèle.

If you're looking for authentic then this is the place. It was delicious and the quality can't be beat. If you like pierogis, then you must try as an appy. Love the live piano player too! Great atmosphere!

I was denied bathroom access as a delivery driver, and it felt like a blanket stereotype, assuming all drivers would be messy or untrustworthy, even though, just like customers, we all behave differently. Delivery drivers are human too, and sometimes we genuinely need to use the bathroom, especially while waiting for orders that are delayed. In my case, I was told the order wouldn't be ready yet, which for drivers is essentially unpaid waiting time spent helping the restaurant complete a paying customer's order. Drivers are there on behalf of paying customers and play a major role in restaurants delivery business. Treating all drivers this way based on their profession feels discriminatory. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Our waitress was lovely but from the time we sat down, we felt rushed. She returned three times in 10 minutes to see if we were ready to order drinks. Since we don't speak French it took us a bit longer to get through the menu. I think this was a one off though as she was very accommodating after she realized we weren't in a hurry. We were there 1.5 hours total so we weren't looking to overstay.

This is our favorite spot in Montreal. We go here every year after the Grand Prix and have a fabulous meal to cap off our weekend. Staff are fantastic and the food is always perfect.

1ere fois il y a 2 semaines et non la dernière une belle découverte. Beau et bon petit restaurant nous étions assis au bar et le barman nous a tres bien conseillé. Belle ambiance. Au menu l'entrée des champignons Oh Wow !!! Le braisé aussi.

Belle expérience à ce restaurant. Le service était chaleureux et impeccable du début à la fin. La nourriture était délicieuse et soigneusement exécutée. Le sauté de champignons a été mon favori : une belle présentation, un plat savoureux, bien équilibré et rempli de goût. Le tartare de boeuf était également impressionnant. Les saveurs se démarquent des tartares plus traditionnels, avec un mélange très réussi et une belle variation de textures qui rend chaque bouchée intéressante. Comme plat principal, nous avons choisi la pièce de viande avec sauce aux poivres, qui était excellente elle aussi. Le dessert était bon, mais comme je n'ai pas particulièrement la dent sucrée, je ne suis peut-être pas la meilleure référence pour juger cette partie du menu. Le concept apportez votre vin est un bel avantage et ajoute au plaisir de l'expérience. Petit point à noter pour les familles : le restaurant est plus ou moins'baby friendly'. La chaise booster ne semblait pas bien adaptée à leurs chaises régulières, ce qui la rendait peu stable et elle glissait facilement. Mon mari a donc dû surveiller la chaise tout au long du repas afin d'éviter un accident. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette belle expérience. Un restaurant que je recommande sans hésitation.

There are many places in downtown that I now avoid . This one is still genuine, the staff is very friendly and the client is respected . I am never disappointed when I come here . For a coffee , cocktails or dinner . You are treated the same . I was served by Hassan this morning, he was genuinely friendly and professional. This is my definition of luxury .

My friend and I had the most wonderful dining experience here and would recommend highly. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and at home as guests and friends rather than just customers. The food was absolutely excellent so very high praise to the chef/owner and his team but what made it all even better was the amazing service we received from Meghan. She recommended food and wine and was utterly charming. We are sorry we didn't discover this wonderful restaurant sooner but will definitely be back on our next trip to Montreal. Thank you for such a lovely evening!

Overpriced bad food! The filet mignon's texture is mushy, dried, and cold. It feels like some low-quality, unfresh meat. For $89 per 6oz serving, I expect the meat will be cooked perfectly and of top-notch quality. The bread served with escargot is hard and chewy; scallop soup is lumpy and lukewarm; the double down foie gras is just two pieces of hard bread which barely has any foie gras; duck breast sliced into 6 thin pieces serves with breakfast sausage; the meat is cold, covered by a gluey sauce; the presentation is disastrous. Asparagus is cold, and the cheese sauce on top is cold too. Maybe it's supposed to be cold? But it is weird to serve as a side of a meat course.

The restaurant is super cute! The appetizers were a little mid, but the entrées were absolutely delicious - honestly some of the best steak I've had. With that said, the consistency in service was lacking. We saw servers taking shots with guests at the table next to us, and at one point we also saw the chef outside drinking wine with guests. While that atmosphere can definitely be fun and adds to the vibe, it seemed to impact the flow of service because our food ended up taking over two hours to come out - and when it finally arrived, it was cold. I completely understand it was a busy weekend, especially with Grand Prix crowds, but consistency is key. If staff has time to socialize and drink with guests, the kitchen and service timing should still remain a priority for the rest of the restaurant. Great food and a fun atmosphere can absolutely coexist - but service still has to feel organized and consistent.

Overall the food and service was good The only reason why i gave 3 stars because when i reserve a table it mention bar or table so i do reserve for a table. When i arrive they set me to the bar and then i need to ask the waiter to change for a table. The manager told me all the table are take and i mention to him i reserve to be sitted for a table not at the bar. Then he gave me an option stay at the bar or go on the terasse(20th may night time was very cold outside) i told him no we have no jacket on and its cold. I have to argue with them for getting a table after 20 minute. All the appetizer was very good. But the main dishes are very salty I will go back for sure but i hope i wont get that experience again.

The spicy chicken is an absolute must-order if you like a kick. ?The Sides: Do not sleep on the rice and potatoes-they were amazing. ?Family-Friendly: Super accommodating for parents; they had a high chair available for our baby. ?Highly, highly recommend!

Beware, definitely avoid Keung Kee! Bad food and worse service. Waiters inattentive. The General Tao was extremely oily with way too much batter. Worst part was paying, the manager watched the tip screen, asked'No tip?' Then kept insisting after we politely said no. When we refused again, they rudely shooed us out of the restaurant.

We spent $153 here including the tip. Even though on the bill we were charged 17$ for zero coke I still decided to give a 15% tip because their server was a nice guy. They had a small glass for the coke so I had to ask refills 2 times and they charged 4.99 for each refill. If they gave us 2 cans of coke from the beginning we wouldn't have needed a refill. Nonetheless, 17$ for zero coke is just insane to me, and didn't mention we were going to be charged. I think the business owner should really think of other ways of making money than taking out of people's pockets like this. There's a level of shame in any business, but this was just beyond our imagination. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Had an amazing time at Les Pyrenees, brought our toddler along with us and the staff made a special plate just for her! She loved it, they also brought her a small apple juice while we had a liqueur at the end of the night which she thought was the best thing. Our meal was delicious and our waiter Justin was very friendly and had some excellent tips on where to visit in Montreal. Would definitely recommend one of our favourite restaurants here

Worst food ever. My fiancé's lamb chop meal consisted of 2 lamb chops, a few roasted vegetables, 3 shrimp and a small bowl of rice for $45. Her $15 alcoholic drink was disgusting, after 2 sips she realized that the people behind the bar did not know how prepare their own house drinks and water was a better choice. My so called chicken brochett was a total disaster, after telling the waiter 3 times I do not want any spice on my meal he reasured me that there was no added spice not correct of course. My chicken brochett consisted of a few small chicken cubes, some roasted vegetables and of course the whole plate was covered in some black dirt like spice. After the waiter reasured me it wasn't spice and to ignore my eyes. Sent it back and I said just give me a garden salad instead which they ignored and brought me a similar chicken meal minus the black dirt. Same small chicken cubes, roasted vegetables consisting of 1 slice of red pepper, 1 broccoli, some pita, garlic sauce and rice. I only ate the chicken, rice and red pepper because the rest smelled and looked disgusting. 20 years ago this place was great so I don't know what happened in the meantime. The pros for this restaurant is as follows, the glass of water, the $4 can of coke, the $15 small bowl of hummus, the small bowl of rice and the paper towels in the small men's bathroom. The cons speak for themselves in their menu of expensive and non edible food. My anniversary was completely ruined by these people, starvation would be a better alternative and you would definitely loose weight and money 💰 at this place. I strongly do not not recommend La Sirene de la mer.
