I trekked to Pierogi Head for their gluten-free pierogi & I was not disappointed. I had contacted the owner ahead of time to ask about procedures in making the gf pierogi & I felt very comfortable with her answers & eating them. The buckwheat dough has a good texture & is packed with filling. They were sooooo good. It had been forever since I'd had a good & proper pierogi that was gluten-free. I bought what she had left to take home for the next night. It's a tiny spot so seating is limited. The owner recommends calling ahead re: gf pierogi as she runs out quickly. I can totally see why. If I lived in Mtl, I'd be in often.

Excellent restaurant ! L'ambiance pour manger sur place pourrait être améliorée. Quelques boissons ukrainiennes pourraient être ajoutées au menu, incluant de la bière.

These pierogis were absolutely fantastic, & the owner was very friendly. Genuinely unique, & delicious. It's a small business worth supporting, & I'll be back for sure. Easily the best pierogis I've had, & a hidden gem in Montreal.
