Best Places for Breakfast During the Week in Montreal

We can't say it enough: it's important to start the day with a full belly. To help you with this task, here is a selection of restaurants offering delicious breakfasts during the week (and most as well as the weekend). It's not easy to choose as Montreal is full of fantastic places open in the morning or for brunch!

Whether you prefer the classic comfort food of egg, bacon, and potatoes, or are more attracted to the sweet, the French, the healthy, or the original, here is something for you to wake up to.

Canard Café

In the Hochelaga district, one of the must-see places is certainly the Canard Café. The owners Pierre and Amélie have managed to give a feeling of being at home as soon as you walk in the door. For breakfast, there is good coffee from 3rd Wave roasters and many delicious options such as their very popular duck confit egg tour. There are multiple vegetarian options and even a kids' menu. As of this summer, they have a patio, so you can enjoy the beautiful days and the excitement of Ontario Street. A second branch will open in the next few months...to be continued!
