    On February 1st, RestoMontréal visited Lulu's Bar à Pâtes. Dalia appreciated the concept of a pasta bar with fresh pasta prepared daily and cooked on-site. Ingredients, including semolina flour and Parmigiano Reggiano, are imported from Italy.     Rébecca visited La Jungle Café on February 4th. Delighted by the staff's warm welcome, she was seduced by a Mexican street food brunch. The delicious tacos with beef tongue, tripe, and mushrooms revived her memories of Mexico. She also savored the chilaquiles and enchiladas. Homemade drinks, such as horchata and hibiscus flower water, added a touch of authenticity to her experience. She was also delighted to discover the co-working space upstairs, making this place a real find on Plaza Saint-Hubert.

    On February 5th, Dalia and Chandni discovered Mezzmiz. They had the opportunity to sample their catering service, with the option of customizing a 6-course box or choosing from the classics. They also attended a podcast where the founders shared their story and vision. The fresh, tasty food transported guests into a relaxing culinary universe.     On February 7th, Chandni and Dalia were invited to the media launch of Climats restaurant at the Time Out Market Montreal. Welcomed with exclusive cocktails, they then enjoyed all the dishes on the menu, including a lobster roll, beef carpaccio, grilled chicken burrito, fish and chips, mussels, salmon with creamed corn, and duck confit. The latter was everyone's favorite. Dalia also enjoyed the cocktail created especially for the event and was impressed by the presentation of the dishes.

    On February 10th, Chandni experienced Joséphine. She was enchanted by the new, more romantic décor at an intimate event that brought together around 25-30 guests around a large table. They shared a 5-course meal, featuring new creations such as lobster ravioli and beef tagliatelle. Chandni was particularly taken by the conviviality of the experience, where sharing was at the heart of the evening. A few days later, she received a thank-you message with a drawing of herself and her +1.

    On February 20, Dalia and Chandni visited Portovino Ristorante on Décarie. Dalia was enchanted by the décor, impeccable service, and delicious food, especially the octopus and lamb chops. Chandni also appreciated the decor and loved the salmon tartare with ponzu sauce and the grilled octopus. The restaurant is reputed to be the best "Bring Your Own Wine" in town, offering a variety of dishes prepared on-site by Chef Vijay, renowned for his unique creations.

    Rébecca ate with the owners of ZEEZ for a gourmet lunch and interview for a dedicated article. The father-son duo is passionate about setting themselves apart by offering quality burgers, with fresh ingredients prepared on-site and halal meat, all at an affordable price. Recently opened, they have big ambitions for the Montreal restaurant scene, with an artisanal approach and a unique customer experience.

    Invitation received to interview for this dedicated article celebrating their 60th anniversary.

    On February 21st, Dalia and Rebecca visited Elio Pizzeria for an interview. Dalia enjoyed the interview with the owners, discovering the 60-year history of the pizzeria. The homemade Neapolitan cuisine and warm welcome make customers feel right at home. She enjoyed the owners' favorite dishes, in particular, the "Coteletta" with its parmesan and Italian spice fries accompanied by a spicy sauce.

    Centre Bell

    Invitation received following Mythik restaurant's dedicated article on their first participation in Montréal en Lumière.

    On the evening of February 21st, following a collaboration between the Centre Bell and RestoMontréal, Dalia and Rébecca visited the Centre Bell restaurants with Executive Chef Yves Lowe and Marie-Claude Dumas, Restaurant Marketing Manager.

    Dalia was impressed by the quality of the dishes on offer and the impressive wine cellar at Canti Osteria & Bar, 9-4-10 Steakhouse, and Mythik, highlighting the freshness and delicacy of the flavors. She highly recommends making a reservation at one of these restaurants before attending an event at the Bell Centre.

    Rébecca emphasized the honor of this personalized visit, praising the quality of the Centre Bell and its flexibility towards event schedules. She noted that, by eating there, there was no need to rush to the show or match, as the service adapted to the schedule. If a performer was running late, staff would inform customers, allowing them to continue the evening in peace, sipping a drink or taking time to enjoy their meal.

    On February 29th, Dalia and Chandni took part in the media opening of the Happening Gourmand at Maggie Oakes. Dalia, a regular at the event for the past three years, was charmed once again. She particularly enjoyed the "Le Pilote Automatique" cocktail and the succulent starters, such as the arancini and crispy prawns. The squid stuffed with spicy veal and chorizo, as well as the apple and almond crumble, also conquered her palate. Chandni also enjoyed the cocktail, colorful appetizers, and grilled coconut salmon. The melting chocolate cake for dessert was a mutual favorite.
