Épik Collection introduces two new culinary destinations designed by chef Graham Hood: LUMI, a contemporary seasonal restaurant, and Subterra, an audio lounge celebrating the roots of jazz, soul, funk, dub, and hip-hop.
Both venues are located within the new SonoLux Hotel in Old Montreal, the first hotel in Quebec to feature contemporary art exhibitions.
"LUMI and Subterra extend the unique experience of SonoLux, offering spaces where gastronomy, art, and music come together in a constantly evolving environment," says Daniel Gallant, Vice President of Épik Collection.
At LUMI, guests can enjoy a contemporary seasonal menu either à la carte or in nine or fourteen course tasting menus. Each dish highlights a signature ingredient and changes with the seasons. The discreet and attentive service allows diners to fully enjoy the flavors and artistic surroundings. LUMI is open Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to 10pm.
Subterra, located in the hotel's basement, offers a relaxed music-focused experience. Visitors explore musical roots through DJ sets, intimate concerts, and full-album vinyl listening sessions curated by producer Fred Everything. The menu includes shareable bites, refined desserts, signature cocktails, and a selection of wines, craft beers, and premium spirits. Subterra is open Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to midnight.
