i know this place is called burger bar, but i came down for the steak frites vayla offer & now i haven't stopped thinking about the meal since. perfectly cooked steak, delicious sauce, wonderful fries. the dessert was delectable! the only thing i would say is that it was a tiny bit overcooked for pudding, but i loved it too much to care.

the team there is awesome! there weren't too many patrons around but food was a little slow to come out, but i think it was also because i took my time enjoying each course.

i'm debating going back again less than 24 hours later!!

Best burger I've had. First visited in August 2025 & all was exceptional. Last visited August 2026, burgers were great, fries were cold but when asked politely for a new batch they were quick to grab one. Understandable however because it was a busy night & the kitchen must've been backed up with orders. Only downside is that we were there for about an hour & a half & our waiter only came to our table once, meaning we were only able to have one drink & not any water refills... I don't believe this is the waiters fault; he seemed stressed & overwhelmed, I think it's simply poor scheduling or low staff. Cost is reasonable for two people, before the tip for two burgers & two caeser's it was approximately 70-80$ if I can recall. Great place overall, a must visit every trip to Montréal.

I didnt even get to eat because one waitress was so rude for no reason I HAD to get out. Just refuses to cooperate, hands us menus & leaves without reason?? Hello? Y'all hire the wrong people on PURPOSE. I had to get out of there…
