First time trying Leméac & I was really happy with the experience. The main dish I ordered was cooked beautifully & had a great balance of flavors. We also tried dessert & it was easily one of the highlights of the meal. Service was warm & professional from start to finish. Definitely worth another visit.

Our final meal in Montréal turned out to be a highlight. After a week of indulging in the best cuisine across Québec City & Montréal, we returned to duck confit before heading to the airport. This time at Leméac, chosen for its excellent reputation.

The dish was exceptional: crisp skin, tender & flavorful meat, surpassing the version I enjoyed in Québec. Our server, I believe her name was Serena, was attentive, & welcoming. We sat on the terrace, where the atmosphere was calm & charming, a lovely setting for French cuisine.

Although we couldn't linger as long as we wished due to our flight, the experience was memorable. Leméac is a place I would recommend to anyone seeking refined French dining in Montréal.

A Michelin guide restaurant in Montreal that most people already know about was a well orchestrated gourmands culinary experience even for lunch!

Visiting for my birthday & this was our 2nd meal of our short trip - instead of ordering from the full menu as we already have an early dinner decided to order from the lunch side & as the waiter mentioned was a bit seasonal.

Starters
Beef carpaccio - OMG, the absolute best version we've tasted! It was light slightly beef but refreshing from the aspic dressing! Just amazing!

Smoked salmon rillette with herb frisée salad with radish & cornichons & light thin crackers - luxurious & rich smoked salmon & the biting acid was a great salad & the crouton/cracker added the crunchy texture. Great start!

Entrees:

Bavette steak frites with a blue cheese: a decadent small steak as the blue cheese sauce is uber richness & the meatiness & slight char from the steak - just a pure beefy delight! Don't skip on the fries - crunchy & good! Not a soggy one at all!

Moules & frites: nice clean soothing broth & nice well cooked mussels & just a nice hint of tarragon! Never a doubt!

Dessert:

The Pain Perdu: Holy sh*t / omg / the guy at the table next to us 🫪. If you are a sweet tooth - this is for you! I'm glad I tried this 1x but that's probably it - I gladly did the touristy thing 🙃

Our server Guillaume - absolutely the best! Greatly recommended me a glass & was a joy to talk to & gave us great recommendations!

The atmosphere was lively the staff was professional & I could see other tables also enjoying their servers & service!

Great place to visit & experience a great French meal!
