Le service est fréquemment cité comme un point fort, plusieurs visiteurs félicitant le personnel pour son professionnalisme, son attention et sa convivialité. As starters, we ordered the Halloumi cheese fries, which were excellent. Served with almonds & Greek honey yogurt, it was the best dish of the evening.
The Venice veggie burgers were decent, but not exceptional, made with soya patty it was a little dry for me. Similarly, the Fettucine with artichokes & FETA cheese were okay, although I have had better pasta dishes elsewhere.
Although I can't remember the exact drink I had, it was most likely a cocktail or a sangria, as it had a generous amount of alcohol in it.
Overall, this restaurant is an excellent choice for those looking to try new dishes. However, it is quite pricey & the portion sizes are on the smaller side. The service was decent, & the staff was friendly & attentive.
There are only a few vegetarian options available, which are not particularly impressive, making it less suitable for vegetarians. The location in Griffin Town is fantastic, & although they have a patio, it was closed due to rain on the day of our visit.
The music at the restaurant was low-key, allowing for easy conversation during the meal. I noticed that there were some office gatherings taking place while we were there.
In conclusion, I would recommend giving this restaurant a try, but I would not visit again for the vegetarian options.
We were a group of 8 people & our service was amazing! Our server was always checking in on us, was responsive & quick with our drinks. The restaurant is elegantly decorated with an inviting atmosphere & the food was incredible! Check this place out, highly recommended!
The food & the service were wonderful. The wait staff was very well informed on celiac & cross contamination. We were able to order GF drinks, apps & a meal which was consumed al fresco for a wonderful evening!

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, & very polite, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lovely - the place had a warm & comfortable vibe that was perfect for relaxing & spending quality time.
I tried their sangria, & I really liked the taste. It was refreshing & well-prepared. The pasta I ordered was also delicious, with a good balance of flavors & a satisfying portion. I also appreciated that the prices were reasonable & matched the quality of the food & overall experience.
This is definitely a nice spot if you're looking for a place to enjoy a meal, have a good drink, & create a nice memory with your friends or family. The combination of great service, a pleasant atmosphere, tasty food, & fair prices makes it a restaurant I would recommend. I'd be happy to come back again & try more dishes from their menu.
Decent experience overall. We came here on a busy Friday night & managed to snag a table near the bar. The pizza was cooked perfectly with a nice crispy crust & the ingredients tasted very fresh. My partner enjoyed their pasta dish as well. It gets quite loud inside when the place is packed so do not expect a quiet intimate conversation. However the vibrant energy is part of the charm. We will likely be back for another round of drinks & appetizers soon.
My wife & I recently met a business colleague for dinner at Zibo on Peel Street in Griffintown, Montreal. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
I do not enjoy giving restaurants poor reviews, especially in Canada & even more so in my hometown of Montreal. However, my recent visit to Zibo left me no choice.
Zibo is a Quebec-based restaurant chain serving Asian-California fusion cuisine.
The restaurant is attractive & includes a sidewalk patio for outdoor dining. However, it was too windy that evening for us to consider sitting outside.
We received a warm welcome, with service available in both English & French. Although we had a reservation for 6:30 PM, there were plenty of tables available. Our server was attentive, & we began with a shared plate of calamari. Unfortunately, the portion was very small & buried under bland batter. It was among the worst calamari I have had, especially at a price of Cdn. $20.00.
For my main course, I ordered the salmon with citrus salsa verde, served with quinoa & fresh vegetables. The salmon was slightly burnt on the bottom, but otherwise edible. The citrus salsa verde was acceptable, but not particularly memorable. The quinoa was served at room temperature, & the vegetables were severely undercooked. I know restaurants serve vegetables al dente, but my broccoli was positively undercooked.
My wife felt the restaurant was expensive for such a casual place. The bill for two, without any alcohol (we don't drink) was $ 150.00 for two, which was way too expensive for the quality of the food we were served.
I hope Zibo makes improvements in the kitchen, because right now, I would suggest it's not worth the visit.
Exceptionally slow service. Didn't get drinks until 30 minutes after we sat down. Ignored for a full 20 minutes. We had reservations & were on time. Seemed understaffed on the floor. No apologies for the delays. Food was average. Would not return unless service improves.
Food was absolutely delicious, drinks were cold & fresh. We sat at the bar & the waiters & kitchen staff were nothing but pleasant, friendly, professional & full of good recommendations. Laurent was super helpful with great suggestions & made our special night memorable. 11/10,will come back
