With a passion for restaurants and more than 30 years of experience in the food industry, Papa Elie and his son Ziad were able to create a unique family business: ZEEZ.
Ziad began his career at hospitality school and pursued a specialization in culinary arts at the Paul Bocuse Institute in France to later work in the most prestigious hotels and restaurants. Ziad is the creator of the ZEEZ menu and is responsible for quality assurance. Filled with energy and passion, you will always see him dedicated to providing the best customer service.

Keeping this short & sweet: this is easily one of my top 3 burgers of all time.
It's fresh, juicy, simple & it hits straight to the soul.
You have to try it.
While you wait for your food, they give you popcorn to munch on & once the burger arrive….oh my god. The sauce, the meat, the bread, the potatoes …everything is a solid 12/10.

Visited ZEEZ on a whim & it has quickly become a new favorite burger spot in the Plateau. This hole in the wall offers a small selection of double smash burgers & sides done well.
The classic smash burger fills all cravings for a really good burger. The patties are smashed thin & cooked until crispy. The whole, with the steamed brioche buns, melted American cheese & sauce, turns into one soft meaty homogenous mass. Dirty & terribly indulgent, but delicious.
ZEEZ has gained much popularity since its inception & a line often forms. Regardless, the wait is worth it for a fresh burger done very well at affordable prices. I look forward to coming back to try all that they have to offer.View more

It was one of those gorgeous hot days where all you want is something crispy, saucy, & satisfying… so I took myself on a solo date to Zeez Burger, & they understood the assignment.
I went for the Chili Crisp Burger - 2 smashed patties , crispy house-made onions, & fresh jalapenos that matched the summer feeling. Paired it with their signature Patates Zeez, which were topped with a beef patty , cheddar, & creamy house sauce.
As a sauce girl, I had to dip into a few extras … the truffle mayo was rich & earthy, & the BBQ added a little sweetness that balanced the spice beautifully. (Most of the sauces are house-made too .. love that.)
For dessert, I cooled down with the moka pudding . Creamy & sweet, though I found myself wishing for a little cookie crumble or crunch on top to add some texture.
The staff were lovely, & the soundtrack? Classic throwbacks & oldies - think Michael Jackson & sunny day singalongs.

Excellent. Bon service pas long malgré le monde, bon smash bien rempli, je recommande. Portions de patates très généreuses & frites excellentes, pas molles, sauces super. On y est allés un peu au hasard en passant devant, au final on était super contents de notre choix. Tout ça à prix correct. Merci ZEEEEEZ
(Je précise pour les sensibles que c'est pas vraiment diététique, mais en même temps c'est un burger, on sait pourquoi on y va. Aussi la salle est toute petite, y faudra surement attendre un peu pour s'y asseoir aux heures d'achalandage ou prevoir à emporter. Cela n'altère en rien la qualité de leur cuisine)View more

FOOD: I had the Mushroom Melt (tripple) smash burger & an order of the Zeez Potatoes w/crispy chicken pieces as a protein topping. The burger was juicy, flavorful & filling. The bun was OK/good but nothig special there. I'll give it an overall solid 8.5 out of 10. The Zeez potatoes though fell a bit short for me as it wasn't crispy at all, it had bits of a cut-up yellow processed cheddar cheese that was not melted on it & the'spicy' sauce has not kick nor was it'flavorful'. I'll give this an overall 6.5 (I'd recommend the smashed potatoes by itself though.
SERVICE:, the young lady serving was nice but it wasn't busy at the counter (we were there at 5:05) but I watched as my burger & potatoes orders were ready & just stood there for 6mins18seconds (on the counter) until I finally made eye-contact with here before she called me up to take my order (her priorities were incoming orders from online orders, I guess)..
ATMOSPHERE: Hard to judge as it wasn't super busy & it's really a small whole in the wall restaurant but I'll give it the 4 stars here since it serves its purpose & should not be dinged for it.
I'd definitely recommend the burgers -we were a party of 3 & we had 4 diff burgers & we enjoyed them all. I'd also recommend the fries only (not the poutine as I found the sauce lacking...but I did not go for their poutine anyways) & also recommend the smashed potatoes (not the Zees Potatoes with the sauce & protrin toppings..).View more

Our current go to burgers, the staff are always so kind & attentive no matter how busy it gets. The only thing is the place is so small, very limited seatings & it can get really cramped in there when it's busy. The house sauce is delicious. I recommend the spicy honey sauce if you get the onion rings, they pair so well together!View more

We had the Classic double beef , the chili crisp & BBQ beef burger & a smash potato . Highlight was defenetly the chili crisp & the potatos. I can't explain how crispy & yet super juicy the meat is , it's like no other smash burger out there . Absolutly delicious. & the smash potato fries was an awesome new way to have''fries'' , we loved it. I absolutly recommend. If you try the BBQ burger, I suggest you go with the crispy chicken instead of beef.. just a recommendation here ! I wouldn't classify this burger as a smash burger as it was quite big & missing the crispy edges around a thin beef patty. HOWEVER, it was a fantastic burger. I especially liked that it was not so greasy & had a perfect amount of sauce. The bun was soft & buttery. We also tried the zeez smash potatoes. Loaded with topics. Again, fantastic! Small casse-croûte with a few seats. Can get quite crowded but great for a quick bite.View more

Really enjoyed this place. Went with a friend. She got the Chili burger (which was recommended by the owner) & I went with the classic. I liked the simplicity of mine but the bite I sampled of my friend's had a nice, light hit of heat. Our burgers more juicy than crispy as you'd expect for a smash burger, but still tasty, so that's not a complaint. But just be aware. As a side we each ordered the smashed potatoes. They generally come with mustard sauce, but I got an extra spicy sauce, & my friend got an extra house sauce (offered at no charge). I would say my favourite was the mustard, spicy & then the house. All 3 were good, so go with your preference. We were offered a sample of the moka pudding (made in-house) which was excellent (assuming you like sweet things). The owner was super friendly & welcoming, which is rare for this type of place. The place is tiny, but they make the most of the space to offer seating. Oh & free (good quality) popcorn. Là je te préviens, y a au moins 55% des gens qui vont lire ce commentaire qui en seront pas heureux. J'ai visité Zeez un vendredi soir après le travail parce que j'avais faim. Ça me semble une raison plutôt légitime. Première chose, les gens ici travaillent fort, je les envie pas du tout, entre les walkins & les commandes en ligne c'est sans arrêt, de la folie. Ça veut dire aussi que la fille qui prend les commandes est susceptible de t'ignorer un peu mais honnêtement je ne peux pas la blâmer, moi à sa place je serais étourdi & en larme. Tout mon respect pour eux. J'espère que le boss les paie bien & ne s'appuie pas sur les suggestions de pourboire grotesques. C'est pas un resto, c'est un comptoir pour commander, y a bien quelques tabourets le long des murs. En cas d'orage j'imagine. La musique est trop forte, la poubelle déborde sur un des comptoirs parce que tout le monde est blasté dans le jus. Mieux vaut manger dehors alors. Ça ne sera jamais un bon plan pour ta première date avec Sabrina Carpenter. Le petit pop corn offert c'est sympathique. J'ai commandé un burger classique avec extra sauce & un drink. Bon écoute, le burger est pas mauvais, juteux, les garnitures fraîches, tu vois sur la photo, j'ai presque une tranche de tomate. A must try smash burger in montreal for sure !!! Every ingredient is fresh, you can taste everything. The sauce goes very well with the burgers. It is also well seasoned which is so important that many burgerjoint miss out on. Overall nothing negative to say, you just have to come try it out & get hooked !! Also had the patate zeez which was veryy good, cripsyy outside texture with a fluffy interior, covered in their house sauce & some other ingredients The service is A+++, very attentive & kindly spoken making the experience even more better & calming. Their smash burgers live up to their name: SMASH BURGER 💥 you can see the crispiness on the edge of the patties . They made their right choice of lettuce, with a great touch of their special sauce. I tried all of their burgers & I can say their truffle mushroom burger was out of this world! For the price & quality, you are winning. What I appreciated the most is the consistency of their food. I don't understand the great reviews, I felt that the meal was extremely disappointing. The burger sauces were fine, but they use spring mix as lettuce & there was a soggy tomato in mine. Didn't love the meat either. Then I had a side of poutine & there was almost no gravy & I couldn't even tell if they used real cheese curds or mozzarella cheese. I did get it delivered but I live 4 min from the restaurant & it was made & delivered so quickly that I can't imagine it would have deteriorated that much. I do not recommend at all, there are way better smash burgers in the city.View more

Great people great food great service come here, please! 10/10 recommend. The sauces are out of this world. Free popcorn too! Staff was so kind & generous. Food was so filling could barely finish my plate. Insanely affordable as well. If you want a good burger go to Zeez.
