This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had.

When we first arrived, we chose to sit on the patio since we had our dog with us. The waitress immediately came over & rudely said,'If another customer complains about your dog, we'll have to ask you to leave.' There wasn't even another customer on the patio for the next 30 minutes, so the comment felt unnecessary & unwelcoming.

She also told us that we could bring & drink our own alcohol. However, after the meal, when we decided not to leave a tip because of the poor service, she came outside & confronted us. She then claimed that we were not allowed to drink hard liquor such as whisky, which directly contradicted what she had told us earlier.

As for the food, it was extremely overpriced. We paid around $40 for just 11 pieces of sashimi, & the fish didn't taste particularly fresh. The quality simply didn't justify the price.

When we chose not to leave a tip due to the overall experience, the waitress became even more confrontational. She insisted that paying a service charge or tip is mandatory everywhere in Canada, which is simply not true. Tipping is voluntary unless a gratuity has been clearly added to the bill in advance.

Overall, the combination of rude service, inconsistent information, overpriced food, & poor quality made this a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this restaurant & will definitely not be returning.

Une expérience absolument incroyable sur l'avenue du Parc. Les sushis étaient non seulement délicieux, mais la présentation était magnifique.

Nous avons adoré la façon dont notre commande a été servie dans un bateau en bois traditionnel, c'était vraiment impressionnant. Tout était très frais & joliment décoré. C'est sans aucun doute devenu notre nouvelle adresse préférée dans le quartier pour manger japonais.

Belle preuve d'originalité dans les sushis fusion en formule BYOB. Le Mile End est chanceux de compter sur Yuukai.

Le service est excellent. On a gentiment été accueilli & servi. On a pris le temps d'expliquer chacun des plats. Le poisson est très frais. Ils ont plusieurs plats signatures que nous avons essayés. Tout a été très bon. J'y retournerai assurément.

Always fresh, delicious especially the salmon exotique or honestly any salmon dish. Black cod is lovely too. Friendly service. Nice to bring our own wine

Their rolls are okay, the best thing to get are the sashimi & the nigiri. Wait time for each dish was very long approx. 15-20 mins for 2 nigiris. But overall very positive
