The dumplings were okay. The meat was good but the broth could be more flavorful. We stopped in very quickly on a Saturday night because our party of 4 wanted a quick bite of soup dumplings. The entire restaurant except two tables was empty. We ordered one order of soup dumplings (10 pieces). A man associated with the restaurant came over & asked if our order was correct. We confirmed it was. He then said that this was not an acceptable order & that we should order more & you should never go to a restaurant & order only one dish. We said okay & started to get up to leave & he said I'll let it pass this time because it's not busy. We ate our soup dumplings, tipped & left. No other customers came in to eat in the restaurant. We were in & out on 15 minutes tops. I've traveled the world & I've gone to many restaurants & ordered just drinks & appetizers many times before. I never do that in busy restaurant, I never take up the table for more time than what I spend eating the food, & I always tip well. I've never once had anyone at a restaurant say anything to me about this. My suggestion for this establishment would be to post this policy on the door. My suggestions for diners is to seek another establishment as there's other soup dumpling restaurants in the city that allow you to purchase one order of soup dumplings in peace.
You know you are in a good place when you walk in & you hear people screaming in the kitchen in Chinese. We were quickly seated in a big table after we walked in & it was nice to have a lot of space for once. The space between the tables were pretty small though so I would feel the waiter slipping behind me now & then. The service was fine. It wasn't the most welcoming or friendly service but the people were polite & patient. The food was great. I really enjoyed both the soup dumplings & the regular dumplings. Both of them had a lot of soup & juice inside which made it so flavourful.
J'ai ADORÉ tout était parfait. Soupe aigre douce piquante juste à souhait & les Dumpling vapeur étaient MAGNIFIQUE. Je vais faire le chemin pour y retourner sans faute

Best soup dumplings in Montreal. Chicken/Curry is a must & so is the pork/cabbage. They're really all good but those are our favorites. They also have a good staple of Chinese dishes that are worth trying.
Nous avons trop aimé ce restaurant ! Les dumplings étaient absolument délicieux. J'ai d'abord essayé ceux au boeuf & coriandre, puis le propriétaire nous a parlé de leur spécialité : la soupe aux dumplings. Comme nous ne la connaissions pas, nous l'avons goûtée… & c'était un vrai régal !
L'ambiance est chaleureuse, le service est excellent & les toilettes sont impeccables. De plus, tout le monde parle très bien français, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable.
Je recommande vraiment cet endroit !

What an absolute gem of a dumpling spot!
We ordered pork & shrimp xiao long baos, cucumbers, classic milk tea with bubbles & a honey lemon tea. Their dumpling soup is uniquely more flavourful than any I've had in the usual traditional dumpling places like Ding Tai Fung. Drinks were perfectly not too sweet. Cucumbers are pretty spicy with creeping heat so if you are a'medium' sorta person, I'd ask them for a little less spice.
This is an earnestly run family business & is not the usual Chinese establishment clean. It is shockingly spotless & clean which shows a real pride of place. We are not from Montreal but come annually for a little food & fun & have a hit list of places that we visit every visit, this spot is now on that list. See you next year!
Petit spot pour des dumplings préparés a la minute. Les soup dumplings sont un incontournable !! C'était délicieux.
Peur convenir aux végétariens.
Il y aussi des nouilles sautées & du riz sauté.
