Definitely a must go to spot in Monkland. The food was amazing with great flavours. Staff were all friendly. Had one of the best food experiences. Already decided to come back soon to try other things in their menu!
Good food & great service! Tried the octopus salad, taco tartare, pork sliders, tuna steak, grilled seared scallops, & the torched sushi. The tuna steak was really good! The seared scallops also very delicious, grilled perfectly! Octopus salad was well seasoned & the octopus texture was great. Everything was delicious. They have two tables where you can experience sitting "sitting in the floor". The seating area is raised & there are cushions to sit on. If you cannot sit crossed legged for long I would not recommend these tables. If you can sit crossed legged for long, then it's a fun option to try. Would recommend!
I went with my family & we tried so many different tapas & every plate was incredible! The chef sauces are homemade & unlike anything I've tried before. The sushi dessert was impressive & the croffle is a must!! Definitely will go back! 😍
Great new addition to Monkland! Everything we tasted was so flavorful & made with love, such great options on the menu it's hard to choose. The fried chicken, the spring rolls, & the pork sliders were the winners this time, & there's so much more I want to try next time. Will definitely be back!
What an exceptional & tasty Japanese restaurant! We had the chance to try out this place during their grand opening weekend. Our waitress Isabella was incredibly friendly. The tapas are a standout, each dishes was tasty & creative - not to mention the beautiful presentation. Among the lineup, the Feuille de Tartare, the Taco Tartare & the Yufuku rolls were our favourite! Additionally, our young daughter loved their seared Aburi sushi. This place is a must-visit! Definitely coming back during our next visit to Montreal.
Ceci est une critique constructive, donc n'y voyez rien de personnel. J'ai pris en entrée une soupe wonton, le bouillon n'a rien de particulier, le wonton est bon, & le tout est à peine tiède, une soupe doit être servie chaude !!!. Ensuite le poulet frit japonais Karaage, saupoudré de copeaux de bonito qui ne dansent même pas, à cause que le poulet est à peine tiède, quand il devrait être chauf brûlant quand il sort de l'huile, je suspecte fortement qu'il a été préparé à l'avance & simplement réchauffé au micro-ondes !!! & j'en ai mangé du poulet Karaage dans plusieurs resto japonais ! Enfin en plat principal, j'ai pris les pétoncles pôelées & grillées, bon là encore, c'était pas tout à fait ça, la pétoncle & la purée de pomme de terre étaient froide, la pétoncle était à peine grillée. Il y a aussi les chaises de type Ikea qui veulent s'effondrer à chaque mouvement qu'on fait , c'est du "cheap" pas fait pour un usage intensif comme dans un resto. Bref, une expérience bien ordinaire quand je m'attendais à une sortie extraordinaire selon les avis que j'avais lu. Vous avez beaucoup de chemin à faire avant de prétendre être hors du commun, je souhaite que vous puissiez corriger ces lacunes rapidement pour passer à un autre niveau, je vous souhaite bonne chance pour la continuité de votre business.
Tried this wonderful new neighbourhood restaurant. The food is delicious & all the staff is friendly & hard working. Clients all arrived at once & the lovely Isabella worked hard to accommodate everyone, never fluxed & with a smile! It had been opened less than a week & the owners Francis & his wife hadn't anticipated it being so busy! We're delighted to have discovered Yufuku & looking forward to trying out other dishes next time!
This place is amazing! Food & service were great! Unique Food & Friendly service with a light atmosphere. I didn't have to scream for my family to hear me! I recommend this place for all sushi lovers. Thanks to the staff for a great evening.
Hands down, the best experience I've ever had dining out! This is a family owned business that makes you feel like you're a part of their family. The food is even better than it looks, & it looks incredible! The Japanese fusion tapas at this place are off the charts. They are in the heart of the Monkland Village so the location is perfect too. What can I say - I'm going back for more ASAP! Thank you to everyone at Yufuku for a next level dining experience!
Wow wow wow. Can't wait to go back. It is a small place but very cozy & friendly. The staff makes you feel right at home. The main attraction is the food. Beautifully platted fresh food filled with amazing flavours. Literally perfection.
New place. AMAZING. like...amazing. We were 5 people. I haven't had good Japanese food like that in a long time. They went above & beyond for us. The service was excellent. Everything was perfection. I can't wait to go back.
A MUST TRY NEW JAPANESE RESTAURANT IN NDG. I highly recommend (these were my favorite, but everything else was amazing as well) : - Tartare tacos - Legit any sushi rolls - Fried ice cream They have unique creations, using a large variety of flavors, textures & ingredients. The interior decor is really nice, clean & the vibe is cozy, semi chic. The chef really know what he is doing & I can assure you can you'll be unlocking a new craving.
