A very chic & elegant restaurant in Old port Montreal! It features authentic Japanese cuisine with a twist of Asian & French influences & fresh ingredients flown in from Japan.

The prices for sushi ranges from 20$ to 170$. The place is not cheap. However, this pricing is justified by the exceptional quality of the ingredients used.

To drink, you'll find an excellent selection of signature cocktails with Asian influences & bold flavors.

It's an ideal place to visit for a gathering, business lunch/dinner or a date night!

The Furusato Maki is a must-try, 10/10 😍
The Premium Sashimi Moriawase had an excellent selection of fish & was served with fresh wasabi.
We arrived a bit early, before 5 PM, & were still warmly welcomed. Service was great, & the atmosphere was cozy.

Food, ambiance, & service was excellent. I am holding back a star because they were a bit shady in giving us a free'chef special' nigiri that we didn't not order & they ended up charging us for it too! Not cool. Make sure this doesn't happen to you. Check your bill!

I recently spent the weekend in Montreal with the girls for a little getaway. On our first night, we had dinner at Yubari, a sleek Japanese restaurant known for its fresh, authentic sushi. The vibes were immaculate-chic yet cozy, perfect for everything from a casual night out to a celebratory dinner. Our waitress was a gem-super sweet, attentive, & incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, which made our experience even better.

We ordered their edamame, salmon tacos, crispy rice, sashimi platter (12pcs) & their Yubari signature rolls.

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, & the presentation of each dish was stunning-almost too pretty to eat. The edamame was coated in truffle, giving it a rich, earthy twist that elevated it far beyond the usual appetizer. It practically melted in my mouth. The sashimi & Yubari signature rolls were incredibly fresh, each bite packed with clean, balanced flavors. But the standout for me was the crispy rice-topped with Bluefin tuna tartare, a touch of mujjol caviar, lemon zest, & a drizzle of unagi sauce. The contrast of textures & flavors made every bite burst with richness, brightness, & just the right hint of sweetness.
