Last week, I had my networking event at Yubari which was exceptional. The guests, alongside myself, loved the food & were really pleased by the drinks & the service that the staff offered during our event.
The service during the night was perfect: super attentive, kind & quick. I was also very lucky to work with Tristan, the event manager, during the planning of the event who was super responsive during our email exchanges & was super helpful in making our event a success. Big thanks to Tristan & his team for making the night run so smoothly & ensuring everything was perfect from start to finish.
Nonetheless, my guests & I were super pleased with the food, the drinks, the ambiance, & the service we were given during the planning of the event, as well as during the event itself. I had so many guests throughout & after the night tell me how much they loved the venue, the food & the drinks. If you're planning an event, I highly recommend Yubari! The fish quality here is amazing. All we had was nigiri. The chef's specials are amazing, I was given flambe'd waygu as one of the cheff's choices, which was good, & would say the fish options were 100x better, those was amazing. I did have an allergy & one of the staff was kind, just didn't check wifh the chef's on ingredients (it had been mislabeled on the menu). Luckily another staff member did verify for me, & fixed it, which is comforting. We got the special cheesecake for dessert, & they brought it out with a sparkeler which was nice. We ended up staying quite some time, & as the night progressed the rice did get more as the fish got less on the nigiri, which was dissapointing. I will be coming here again!
Mon mari me parlait du restaurant Yubari depuis un moment, en me répétant : « Je dois absolument t'y amener ! » Après plusieurs expériences culinaires en Asie, j'avoue que mes attentes en matière de sushi étaient devenues très élevées - voire inexistantes ici.
Mais quelle agréable surprise !
Dès l'entrée, le design raffiné & l'ambiance chic du restaurant donnent le ton. L'accueil a été impeccable, & le service tout simplement irréprochable. Un immense merci à Cynthia, qui a su nous accompagner avec attention tout au long du repas. Connaissant parfaitement son menu, elle nous a fait découvrir différentes sauces & saveurs avec une générosité exceptionnelle.
La présentation des plats est soignée, la vaisselle élégante, & chaque assiette est un plaisir autant pour les yeux que pour les papilles. Mention spéciale pour :
les tacos au saumon, un vrai coup de coeur
les dumplings avec leur sauce « you », absolument délicieux
les sushis, d'une fraîcheur & d'une finesse remarquables
Trois petites notes toutefois : le tartare de thon manquait un peu de peps à mon goût, la pieuvre légèrement surcuite ( mais j'ai adoré la poires asiatique ) & le dessert au caramel m'a laissée légèrement sur ma faim comparé au reste du repas.
Malgré ces détails, l'expérience globale a été excellente & je comprends parfaitement pourquoi mon mari tenait tant à me faire découvrir cette adresse. Une belle surprise culinaire que je recommande chaleureusement !
