Yia Sou is my go to place on Queen Mary Road. My wife & I have been dining there since it opened.
The service is friendly & efficient. The menu has many delectable choices. The portions are very generous & most importantly the food is delicious.
Last night my wife & I both chose the authentic Gyro platter which we thoroughly enjoyed & finished to the last crumb.

Je recommande chaudement Yia Sou Greek Grill à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience authentique & savoureuse de la cuisine grecque. Dès qu'on entre, l'ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale donne immédiatement envie de s'attarder. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant & toujours prêt à donner de bons conseils sur le menu.
Les plats sont absolument délicieux. Les viandes sont grillées à la perfection, tendres & juteuses, & les assaisonnements mettent vraiment en valeur les saveurs méditerranéennes. Le gyros est généreux & savoureux, le tzatziki maison est crémeux & rafraîchissant, & leurs salades sont croquantes & bien équilibrées. Chaque bouchée rappelle la Grèce!
Les portions sont très généreuses pour le prix, & la qualité des ingrédients est évidente dans chaque assiette. Le service est rapide, même aux heures de pointe, & tout est préparé frais.
Que ce soit pour un repas rapide ou un souper entre amis, Yia Sou est un endroit où l'on sait qu'on va se régaler. J'y retournerai sans hésiter !Voir plus

Honestly, YiaSou has been one of my favorite restaurants for the last several years. The food is absolutely delicious, my personal favorite being the chicken gyro platter in a pita & the chef's spanakopita. Additionally, the staff have always been great & the atmosphere is very comfortable.
Everyone I've introduced to the restaurant genuinely loves the food & always wants to go back. The most surprising being my family of picky eaters who now suggest going to the restaurant whenever they are in town visiting. It was their first taste of Greek food & it's been a success ever since.Voir plus

We ordered 4 appetizers & then a plate of gyro meat, my friend ordered a skewer of lamb Much to our surprise we got with a Sharing Charge!!!! Seriously? I highly recommend this place, they sure do know how to cook any kinds of meat & it's absolutely delicious, I had authentic gyro plater, simply delicious. however it was a little bit salty & oily for my taste maybe steak is a better choiceVoir plus

Have eaten on site (the octopus was excellent), but more often have ordered in - at least 15 times. Always order the same but tonight was probably the best chicken gyros ever. Compliments to the staff!Voir plus

Great service from our waitress Maria!! Efforts did not go unnoticed! Fried calamaris were cooked to perfection & I appreciate that they were not overly battered or oily like other places where I had experienced this. Portions are still good They are usually very tentative with the doneness of the meat, today however, was an exception I am sure I will add a star upon my return visit, To the public: still a decent restaurant for greek food !! Recommendation: Bathroom on the mainfloor would be fantastic! In particular to accommodate physical needs. 1yr ago: The lamb platter is still on point!! Fired zucchini chips are still the best ones in town. Gotta love the potatoes here. Cant wait to come back for their steak. & for more lamb! The gyro is just okay. Service is amazing as always here.
