If I wasn't in a public setting, I would have licked the dish clean; the beef was tender, the brown sauce was delicious, & the mash & veg were cooked well! I ordered an old fashioned to accompany my dinner, which tend to be hit or miss depending on the establishment. These folks hit the mark. Wonderful dinner & drinks. The atmosphere is casual & friendly, the staff are a pleasure to deal with, & I would encourage everyone considering a visit to take the plunge. I'll certainly be returning during my next stay in Montreal. Cheers!

One of the best spots for enjoying an Irish pub vibe. Food is delicious, service is always friendly, & of course, the drinks variety & quality, to the top!
The music is too loud! I went to many pubs in Ireland & the music isn't as loud. I wasn't able to hear half of what my friend was trying to yell at me across the table. Lower the volume guys! apart for that, the food, the crowd & the service is great. I really wish I didn't have tinnitus after tonight.

Everything we had, french onion soup, cheeseburger, fries, sweet potato fries, fish & chips, tartare sauce, everything was better than I've ever had before. The pub is huge, cute, cosy vibe, fireplace! The music is great. & Brian, the person serving, is great. So sweet, friendly & observant. Will go again whenever I'm in this area.
J'ai passé une excellente soirée du nouvel an, la cuisine était délicieuse, le personnel agréable & souriant, & l'ambiance au top. Un excellent pub ( & il y a un splendide violon géant pendu au plafond ). Je reviendrai avec joie :)
This is a fixture of her Monkland village for a reason, it's awesome! This is the quintessential Irish Pub experience, in the heart of NDG. We have been going for years, & just returning again after a little while. The beers, food & service is fantastic, with the service being a high point. Kim greeted & served us with a radiant smile & great personally! This is the type of pub that regulars frequent, we will be back (again & again) for sure! The chicken soup was a délite, this time around. See ya soon!
Ma femme & moi étions allés un mardi. Le pub étaient plein. Une vrai ambiance de pub.
La pinte de Guiness parfaitement versée.. juste assez de mousse. Le service était long parce qu'il étaient en sous effectif. Par contre la nourriture laisse a désirer. Le fish & chip était sec. Les frites étaient était mal blanchies car elles étaient croustillantes... Crues... La cobb salade n'avait pas de vinaigrette du tout. Nous ne pouvions pas demander de rectifier la situation car les serveuses ne venaient jamais puisqu'elles étaient trop occupées!!
Allez y pour un verre mais pour la bouffe, il y d'autres restos sur la rue monkland!!
A great little pub, really cool environment with great service. Amazing drink specials, awesome food. Should have taken a photo of my wings...was basically a whole chicken 🤤
