We have a wide selection of homemade food, beer, cocktails, whiskey and wine, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere that can not be matched. See you at the pub!
Ye Olde Orchard Pub & Grill comes across in these reviews as a warm, lively Irish pub style spot with a central Montreal location near the Bell Centre, where friendly and attentive staff and quick service create a welcome pre game atmosphere and a bustling bar scene during hockey nights. The beer selection is repeatedly praised and the menu delivers solid pub fare with burgers, wings, nachos and mac and cheese drawing frequent compliments, along with good value and generous portions. The vibe is described as cozy or rustic with good music and plenty of screens for games, though crowds can make it noisy and the place feel crowded at peak times. Some dishes are noted as standout while others are more variable, with occasional concerns about consistency or oiliness, but overall the reviews emphasize a reliable, hospitable spot for groups, friends and fans looking to drink, eat, and soak up the game before or after a show. The place often becomes a go to for regulars who feel welcomed and well taken care of by a team that keeps the spirit up and the drinks flowing, making it a go to neighborhood pub with strong atmosphere and solid food and drinks.
Classic English Pub! The Staff were pleasant & quick to serve us. They have a pretty stacked menu for food & drinks. I had the old fashioned, a lager pint, hot wings & popcorn shrimp- & everything was great! The hottest wings weren't that hot though!

Ordered the ribs. The price is more on the expensive side. Fries were great, but the ribs were dry & tasted like they had no sugar in them. Adding ketchup on the top/ having the chefs add it in the sauce recipe would seriously improve them. I liked how the employees wore kilts to keep the theme of the pub.
I stopped in after a game at the Bell Centre, it's in a perfect location for pre or post-game food & drinks. It was crowded & loud with a band playing, but, getting people in & out was handled efficiently. The staff were awesome, friendly & the food & drinks arrived promptly. Our experience was positive overall. I decided on poutine to eat. I appreciate that the fries were cut in house, they were made from small potatoes & the ratio of potato skin to potato was very high. There was so much potato skin in the order it was bordering on bitter. The majority of the potatoes (under the top layer in my picture) were bits & pieces mixed with slivers of potato skin. To their credit, the brown gravy & curds were good, as was the portion size.
Nous sommes entrés par cette petite porte sans prétention & nous avons trouvé exactement ce que nous cherchions. Un bon pub Irlandais avec de la bière, une bonne ambiance & des plats généreux. Parfait !

Had a late lunch/early dinner. Joey was very hospitable & offered great food/drink suggestions. Spouse had bangers & mash & I had the braised beef & we loved both. Thank you Joey! Would recommend & would return.
Great acoustics ( live music Duo) & Habs GM Kent Hughes sat at the table beside us with St Louis Blues GM Armstrong... Pretty cool atmosphere to say the least.
I didn't like the honey chicken wings at all as they tasted undercooked & had a strong raw chicken smell. They were also not freshly prepared & seemed reheated. Same with the samosas, they seemed reheated in a microwave oven instead of freshly cooked, so they tasted stale & soggy. The pub was almost empty when we visited even though it was dinner time, so the vibes didn't feel good. Service was good as the two waiters were very attentive & quick.
Good variety of beer & food. Food is pretty good. The problem of this place is service. It's really disaster. I've been at lunch time & pub was almost empty. There were 2 waiters, what was more then enough for amount of clients. But waiters had a zero attention to customers, were making mistakes in customer orders & in bills. In my order out 4 positions 2 were with mistakes. Seriously? While I was there another 2 customers had problems with their orders/invoices. This ruins mood & willingness to stay there, especially when nearby there are other pubs. P.s & after this experience they ask for minimum of 18% tips. Crazy.
