YAMA, which in Japanese means "mountain", paying homage to the restaurant's location on Rue de la Montagne, and the ancient belief that the mountain is at the heart of resources such as fresh water and necessary nutrients to well-being.

Designed with natural materials that draws inspiration from the mountainous regions explored during Chef Antonio Park's long journeys, YAMA will offer you a pan-Asian menu and cocktails designed to be sensory, elevated and special.

We ate here twice. Both times for breakfast as it was attached to the hotel we stayed for a long weekend.

The food is good. I ordered the bagel & yogurt bowl on separate days. They weren't bad. My 8 year old daughter wasn't a fan of the oatmeal. She normally loves oatmeal, but didn't like this one because it was sweet. She's used to oatmeal without added flavours.

As someone who is allergic to eggs, their breakfast options mostly all contained eggs. Fortunately, they had side items to add to the non-egg options on the menu.

The prices are a bit on the high side for what you get. However, I'm guessing that's a way to eat at the credit you get if you are Hilton Honors Gold or Diamond.

The service was good, though. No complaints.View more

View more

called YAMA breakfast room service at our stay at hotel. Food portion is small, & expensive! They charge $8 room service fee, & mandatory 18% tips even tho they didn't give any service! (if bringing food to room is service then it should be already counted in $8 room service fee.) $69 food ended up being charged for $110...View more

Yama restaurant is located at the Vogue Hotel downtown Montreal. It's has a beautiful large marble stone bar in the centre & the interior design is breathtaking. This is a perfect spot to have drinks & enjoy the Fashion & Beauty experience.View more

While the Vogue Hotel didn't quite meet expectations, Yama restaurant inside the hotel was a remarkable exception & deserved a separate rating for the exceptional foods it delivered. The dining experience at Yama was exquisite, offering a fusion of Asian dishes elevated by Western ingredients that preserved their traditional core tastes. The menu was a thoughtful blend of classic & contemporary, with each dish showcasing a harmonious balance of flavors. The chefs at Yama have a knack for integrating Western elements into Asian cuisine without overshadowing the original flavors. This results in dishes that are both familiar & excitingly new. What stood out was not just the quality of the food but also the presentation, which was artful & inviting. The ambiance of the restaurant complemented the dining experience, with a warm & welcoming atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable.View more

We are currently staying in The Vogue Hotel. We are thoroughly pleased to have a wonderful place for breakfast within the hotel to start our day off. Everyone in our party left full & more than pleased with their menu options. Highly recommend for a breakfast spot!View more
