That chicken was to die for. Probably the best chicken place in Longueuil. If you're ever in the mood for something that is not just your average fried chicken, then you should come here now.
Chicken is well seasoned & crispy. The portions are generous & the staff is friendly. This place is definitely meant for take out but if necessary there are a few table to sit down. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. The homie burger combo was so good!!!
Excellent all around. Probably the best fried chicken I've had on the south shore. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality you get. I'd definitely go again.
The best fried chicken I've eaten since the now closed Dinette Triple Crown in Montreal. The chicken is so tender on the inside & crispy on the outside… incredible. The signatures sauces & the chicken tenders are to die for. That was my first & definitely not my last stop at Yakyu. Eric, his wife & staff are friendly & welcoming. Love the logo & backstory, long live Yakyu!!!

The fried chicken here may be the best on the south shore of Montreal! Fries are great, their homemade sauce is amazing. All around, I would recommend this establishment to anyone who likes chicken!

WOW… incredible chicken
Visiting Montreal for the first time from Scotland & this was round the corner from our accommodation & we were so glad we popped in for dinner. Some of the best chicken I've ever had & the poutine was really good too. The homemade sauces are also excellent, especially the hot sauce. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Après plusieurs années à manger du poulet frit & avoir raffiné ma palette en matière de volaille & de panure hehe, la quête est enfin finie... THIS IS THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN !! Pas juste de Longueuil, mais Montréal aussi & probablement le Québec en entier. Le gravy & la frite chili, tout simplement insane, sans fautes.
En plus les proprios étaient incroyablement smats & accueillant, l'ambiance était incroyable puis tout était singulièrement excellent. À ne pas manquer, bravo !!
After a gruelling badminton session at a local sports centre, my friends & I decided to get some fried chicken for dinner. Despite some initial reservations (Olivia's & dominos were right beside them & seemed to have much larger spaces), we ultimately settled to try the place out.
& what a good decision it was.
Right off the bat the owner was incredibly courteous & friendly as we made our order, offering us multiple sauces to try all on the house! The crispy chicken we ordered was superbly flavored, both the classic & tender versions, & the portions (especially the massive tenders) were extremely generous. Paired with exquisitely crunchy fries alongside a thick & flavorful gravy which was seasoned to perfection (I find some gravies to be a tad over-salty), they also had an amazing dill sauce which paired extremely well with the tenders.
P.S. Their coleslaw was, for me, the icing on the cake; a perfect balance of creamy & tangy - I usually never manage to stomach more than a few bites of the coleslaw which accompanies fried chicken, but here I could have eaten an entire cup without issue.

Super delicious fried chicken, the owner is very friendly, you can see how he cares the customer satisfaction to the taste. The most thing I like is the food is fresh, no frozen chicken, you order then they fry the chicken, very juicy & the portion is worth the money. If you like spicy food, try Nashville chicken burger, very satisfying. Hope the restaurant will keep the quality & passion :) definitely will come back.
Unique recipe & flavour for both the chicken & the sauce. I ordered the 3-piece combo & it was a delicious meal. Lots of love & care is put into making great food. The owner is a really nice guy too. I was glad I visited, & I'll be coming back!
Very good burger. Nice seasoning & crunch on the chicken, but greasy (not bad just giving info). Salade au chou moins bon mais mangable. On a pris pour emporter, but they forgot to give us our chicken strips. Instead, we received fries. Honest mistake I'm sure but frustrating none the less.
My friend & I just had their classic chicken crispy burgers for the first time. Wow.. it was so delicious! It was fresh & on top of everything the flavors just were there. Even the bond was not too heavy was perfect. Literally nothing negative to say. Even the customer service was amazing. Elias is hilarious & if you know anybody in the open mic or comedy industry, this is your next person. He made waiting for your burger a great experience by just being himself cuz he's hilarious & fun to talk to. We're definitely coming back.
