Got to love the cheese bagels, the rolls & desserts. I have been a long time customer & always get great service. I have never had a tip added on unless I choose to, Tips are optional. I do not believe the fake posts about tips at all.

Can't comment on Facebook so commenting here … I've been to Yagel bagel over 100 times … I've never been forced to tip or given the machine with a tip already put in for me. Those Facebook comments are absolute garbage . This place has the best staff ever especially Angie . So whoever is making up those useless lies to smeer a small business, should find another hobby & maybe get a life . Yagel bagel 10/10.

The previous time I went to the store, there was one customer who went in before me. There were 2 servers who ended up chatting with her, while I was waiting to be served. I was totally ignored until I finally spoke up & then got served. I reluctantly went back the week before Rosh Hashanah & self served some items, brought them to the cashier & paid by tapping my card. When I got home, I found a tip amount of over $5.00 on my receipt. When I went back for a refund, I was told that it was in the system & they couldn't do anything about it. So, after 2 bad experiences there, I will not go there again.
The reply from the owner claimed that I was reimbursed with cash, which is not at all true as I left the store with my receipt in hand. & the exact amount of a tip on a $43.48 bill was $5.22. But I .don't care about the money, but I do care about the deceit of the entire transaction, having a tip automatically added to the bill in the first place.

Ordered medium smoke meat got lean. Got a bread not offered to be cut. Two people were there at same time they got everything they wanted cut bread & medium smoke meat....is it caus ei am not Jewish I didn't get medium or my bread cut or even offered? Urrgh not cool

One of our favorite stops whenever we pass through Montreal, especially for the cheese bagels. The location changed since our last visit but the new site farther up the street is larger, has all the same great deli & bakery products & there is still lots of free parking in front so it is a quick easy stop & well worth it.
