First time at their new location on St. Jean Blvd. Just dropped in to buy some cheese bagels. Also ended up buying challah rolls & potato knishes (an after thought). When home I noticed that a tip was charged on my receipt. I was totally surprised & do not agree that a tip should be added to my bill. Perhaps the owner should consider paying staff accordingly instead of putting the onus on customers by adding a tip.

New location, but always fresh bagels, cheese rolls, always nice experience & amazing service. Greate variety of baked good, bread, been a customer for 20 years & hope to enjoy it for many more years to come. New store looks better, more fresh & modernized, better tech too :)

Great little bakery in the west island. Lots of fresh breads, bagels, treats to choose from. Delicious cold cuts, cheeses & more.The place is on the small size makes you feel claustrophobic especially at peek hours. Would be nice if things like the bagels, breads were more clearly marked with prices.

Great selection of traditional Jewish baked goods. The challah bread is some of the best I've tried. Impressive variety of cheese bagels too which I've also grown fond of since moving to Montreal. Service could have been warmer though.

Yagel, interesting name, I bought by my curiosity , I chose the 4 pieces for the shape of half round with creamy cheese & fruit fillings, the older lady told me $3.50 each. Also I chose 4 pieces small ones with potatoes , mushrooms & pizza fillings , total cost me $20 more, but when I came back home to look at the recipe, & my bag, 4 pieces small were charged $5 I only had three. I doubt if I didn't take my receipt from her, how I know she cheated me?

Good place to have a bagel. A bit pricey though. I had a bagel with cream cheese & paid over $6. The owner replied & said that the I might have had & additional item but that is not the case. I only got a bagel with cream cheese & paid over $ 6 . Nothing else. So, looks like I was over charged.

Perfect spot to try Montreal bagels. I was on my way to St. Viateur after here. To my surprise they had both St. Viateur & Fairmont bagels. The guy that helped me was so nice, & everything I’ve tried here was amazing. Def would recommend to go for some delish cheese bagels & some yummy breads & of course the iconic Montreal bagels.
