Then the kicker!!!!! NO REFUND. ONLY A 76$ credit on our next order. we will NEVER EVER order here again. HORRIBLE DISGUSTING service, not to mention theft of funds. We will see how they react when I show up on the door for my refund!!!!! avoid this place at all costs!!!!! If we could leave less than zero.... we would
Unfortunately very disappointed ingredients were not fresh & I just could not finish the soup or the meal. & the tea was so weak that even after waiting 15 minutes it never changed color. Not going back there
This place fueled a lot of family dinners & satisfied a lot of cravings. Forever my favorite Chinese restaurant
Used to grab food from here all the time. Portions shrunk by 30%. Their general tao chicken is 70% batter & 30% chicken gunk. & the service has gone downhill with the new admin.
The Atmosphere is very poor.n Full of knickknacks everywhere.n The food itself Is very tasty, but the ingredients are cheap. For example, The chicken is actually capon less flavor, & when not cooked properly tasted bad & old. They know how to satisfy but they cut ✂? corners. Give me good food & ingredients cooked properly, I will pay for it no problem. I live far so not a regular last time I was there pre pandemic was not as bad. I hope 🙏 next time they will surprise me. 😮
We've been coming here for several years. The food is still good, & we used to really enjoy this place. Prices have gone up, which is understandable these days.
But now they charge $3 for tea - something that used to be free, & is always complimentary in most Chinese restaurants. Paying extra for such a basic, cheap tea feels unreasonable & disappointing. It really takes away from the overall dining experience.
My server was 100 % racist. I would never go back or spend another dollar in this restaurant..what a horrible & disgusting experience...
We've been going to Wok Cafe for years. It's mostly a take out joint ( not very fancy) & the food was great. Good size portions, great prices . However over the last couple of years it's been going down. We finally decided after ordering the other day that it's our last time patronizing this business. Food doesn't taste nice anymore, ( even the steamed rice seeming to be old & hard -- recycled) small portions & really over inflated greedy pricing. More onions & veggies to hide lacknof meat & chicken & take out orders packaged so you can't check the bag & missing stuff. Don't know if it's new owners or not, but I can no longer recommend this place. Luckily we have lots of other options, but we will miss our good old Wok Cafe go to spot. So sad.
Visited for the first time this week. Friends recommended & we were not disappointed. The restaurant is in an obscure strip mall (in the land of strip malls) & there is plenty of parking. Level entrance means handicap accessible. The restaurant was modern, bright & clean. Service was fast & waiter was pleasant & helpful. We ordered about seven dishes including soup. The egg rolls arrived at the table hot & fresh in about three minutes. Soup was close behind. The mains arrived about ten minutes later. We enjoyed all but the General Tao deserves special mention. In summary...a great experience. Friendly & efficient service & very tasty food in generous proportions. Highly recemmended. WE will return.
Nourriture vraiment bonne, service aimable, poli, accueillant. Prix abordable. Beau choix de menus.
Finally some great black bean beef noodles! Lots of meat, single bite sized vegetables, heaps of noodles, & a perfect sauce. The staff table service was so sweet & we never had to ask for anything or get their attention.
My only complaint was the owner hawking the staff the whole time made me feel uncomfortable.
didn't go in person but had the food & as someone with a big appetite their portion really filled me up. I had the lemon chicken & a couple years back I had the general chicken & both times it was cooked well with just enough sauce. The wonton soup is very lacking in flavor but it does taste good.
Had sesame beef. A bit tomato-hey of the sauce, but very good. Especially appreciated the vegetables & hot & sour soup
The beef fried rice noodle is done properly & well, plenty of wok hei & very tasty. Definitely a hidden gem!
The food was good. I ordered from skip. But I ordered crispy beef, & I got general Tao chicken instead. It was tasty though.
