Village Grec propose une cuisine grecque authentique avec des portions généreuses et un bon rapport qualité prix, des plats frais et savoureux comme les gyros et les viandes grillées, un service chaleureux et efficace et une ambiance accueillante, de nombreux clients revenant pour une expérience fiable au déjeuner comme au dîner, tandis que certains avis signalent des incohérences d'assaisonnement, des plats qui ne répondent pas toujours aux attentes, et un cadre décontracté qui ne convient pas à tout le monde.
If i can give 0 stars for service & professionalism I would.
I will start this negative review with a positive note on how the food is fantastic & has not been ever an issue.
The reason for my critique & negative review is that of the service received.
I politely asked for more water & extra bread & waited early 15 minutes & never got the bread & water.
that being said,
our waiter she was too busy with other customers to come & check in on our table,
when our meal was finished we waited a good 10 minutes to get the bill & for what ever reason another waiter brought the bill & did not even ask or comment how the food was he came in gave the machine to pay & left.
as I'm walking out the same waiter stops me & points out infront of everyone
just to let you know you did not leave a tip'
I was appalled by his audacity to ask that,
a more polite way would have been to ask us if there was anything wrong with the food or service but no he jumped to conclusions & literally said what he said & embarrassed me infront of my mother.
I will never accept being humiliated when I pay for my food or anything for that matter.
you get served means you give a service
you give service you get a tip thats the whole point of dining & experience
for as simple as water & bread not received I get this waiter who insults me straight to my face.
the street goes both ways
you give & you get.
I honestly don't feel comfortable coming back to Village Grek anymore because of this disgusting experience
the old owners would not have stood for this.
Food is always fresh & delicious. My waitress Christina answered all my questions with sincere smiles. By far the best Greek food in Laval. Parking can be a challenge.

While on a business trip to Montreal, Quebec, our Lifestyle Montreal manager recommended an authentic Greek restaurant in the neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed their lunch special, as the picture shows. The service was top-notch, & the atmosphere was lovely.
It was a pleasant surprise to discover that all their food is Halal.
Thank you, George, for the suggestion, & thank you, Mike, for the warm hospitality.
We look forward to visiting again when we're in Montreal.
Excellente nourriture, excellent service avec Diana, assiette de pita au poulet, riz excellent, salade grecque, patates grecques typiques & succulentes, calmars frits, à recommander fortement!!!
Home made authentic Greek food. Went for a lunch. Very good lunch menu with a main dessert & coffee. 20 to 25 $ p.p.
Service was welcoming & efficient. Food was tasty, fresh & the portions generous enough to have a 2nd lunch to warm up tomorrow.
It's a bit off the beaten path but worth the small detour.
Repas excellent, portion généreuse, cuisson parfaite. Qualité prix vraiment bon !!! 10/10 j'ai été avec un collègue hier & on a adoré les 2. On va y retourner !

My first time trying them considering the overwhelming positive reivew. Tried the Chicken gyro pita & their Porc & Lamb gyro pita.
The good stuff: The portion & size was generous, their tzaziki is on the watery side due to the fact that there is a lot of cucumber bits but delicious with a sharp lemon acidity, wished it was slightly thicker but overall a good sauce.
The bad: Their protein was so underwhelmingly seasoned, lack salt, lack herbs, lack spices, its the first time in my life that I sprinkled salt in my gyro pita (I had over 20 greek restaurants experience, & I never had to do this, even in a mediocre food court Greek chain). The chicken gyro was even worst, it was blander than costco's rotisserie chicken. I am not sure if I tried on a wrong day but this was beyond unacceptable. The fries they put inside the gyro is cloying & also unsalted. Spreading of tzaziki is not well balanced, 2/3 down the gyro, there was no more sauce.
Disappointing diner.

Very inviting & cozy atmosphere. Greek village style. The service was very quick & courteous. Professional. I had the gyro pita plate with some taramosalata. Very reasonably priced. Also lots of parking. Will definitely go back.
We went during the holiday week it was quite busy, & ordered the chicken gyro plate & the mixed gyro plate. The food was very good & the service was fast. Overall, a great experience
