Le Pérou au Québec, quelle chance!

Ça m'a pris une éternité à choisir tellement tout avait l'air bon...

Nous avons finalement partagé un ceviche - délicieux & fidèle à mes souvenirs du Pérou - & un lomo saltado - correct & généreux. Nous aurions dû spécifier que l'on prendrait ces plats un à la fois plutôt qu'en même temps, mais ça ne nous a pas empêchées de profiter des saveurs.

La chicha morada (boisson sans alcool à base de maïs mauve & épices) maison est très réussie.

La serveuse était super aimable & attentionnée. Elle nous a même donné un alfajor (biscuit fourré au d'ulcères de leche) pour la route...

La seule chose qui m'a étonnée : la présence de mets mexicains au menu. Sans doute une façon de satisfaire une clientèle qui connaît plus le Mexique que le Pérou. Pourtant, la cuisine péruvienne mérite d'être connue!

Villa Wellington est un resto cuisine Peruvienne authentique situe dans la ville de Verdun (quelques pas du metro de l'Eglise ligne verte STM). C'est un de mes restos preferes qui merite une belle reconnaissance pour sa cuisine, son simple decor & son service. Les portions sont genereuses alors mieux d'y aller en grand nombre. En ete, la terrasse est disponible. Il y a un bel ambiance lors des ventes de trottoir & que la rue de Wellington est barree pour que les gens puissent circuler confortablement sur cette rue sans se faire deranger par des voitures. De plus, il y a plusieurs activites disponibles sur place dans ce quartier. Svp veuillez consulter la programmation des activites disponibles dans la ville de Verdun. Le restaurant était très bon & les portions étaient généreuses; j'ai même dû rapporter le reste à la maison. L'accueil a été très agréable au départ : malgré que toutes les tables soient réservées, on nous a trouvé une place à l'extérieur. En revanche, notre serveuse était un peu moins chaleureuse. Le service manquait d'attention & les échanges étaient plutôt secs. De plus, elle ne nous regardait même pas lorsque nous lui parlions, ce qui donnait l'impression qu'elle n'était pas vraiment intéressée à interagir avec nous..
