We dined here on the 12th of Feb around 6:30 pm. The restaurant was virtually empty so we had our choice of table. On first entry, the restaurant feels warm & inviting, it is only after being seated & looking around that you notice that every square inch of space is filled with plants, wine bottles, instruments, pictures & Italian bric-à-brac. The feel is overwhelming. We were relieved to discover that the staff member talking very loudly to other diners when we entered, was not going to be our waiter. It turned out that he was the cook.
We ordered a beautiful bottle of red wine at $105 to enjoy whilst reading the menu. With 24 pages full of menu items, there was a lot of reading to do. This menu is a relic from the past, with food titles in a fancy typeface that were hard to understand, followed by descriptions in even smaller letters. The menu was a real challenge to get through. I gave up immediately, hoping my partner would choose for us both.
Our waiter came over a few times to take our order but we asked for some time to enjoy the wine whilst we read the menu. Then, out of nowhere, the cook appeared & started shouting at us. It took us by surprise, but soon realised that the cook was not happy that we were taking so long to order. He even threw in an F bomb, saying that he didn't want to be stuck there til midnight. It was only 7 pm.
Eventually we ordered a Carbonara, the original Italian way, without cream, & a Veal Scallopini, to share.
When the Carbonara arrived it looked like a birds nest in a bowl; the Veal Scallopini looked good.
The Carbonara tasted as bad as it looked. The noodles were undercooked & kind of crunchy, it was dry & did not taste like a Carbonara. The only good news is that the Veal Scallopini was tasty.
The cook had kind of ruined the night for us with his ridiculous behaviour so we cut our losses soon after finishing & left, knowing that we would never return. Whilst this restaurant opened in'99, it feels like a dinosaur from the'70s.

Expérience tres désagréable. arrivée pour 7h30 manger a 10h30...Attente interminable à la St Valentin hier. Le management n avait pas prévue rien. 3 tables ce sont levée & quitté les lieux & un jeune couple insatisfait ce sont fait crier dessus par le management. Svp prenez moins de clients si vous n etes pas capable de satisfaire la clientele surtout au prix que vous avez.
Quelle déception. Nous sommes allé avec nos parents le 1er janvier 2026, pour célébrer le nouvel an, comme nous avions fait une dizaine d'années auparavant. Cette fois, nous avons constaté que le restaurant a énormément régressé. Les plats servis n'étaient pas conformes aux descriptions, le plus expérimenté des serveurs, celui qui a pris notre commande, semblait irrité par nos questions & était très condescendant (je dois souligner que les serveurs plus jeunes étaient très attentionés & sympathiques). La qualité de la nourriture était plus que décevante : un filet mignon si petit dans le surf & turf qu'il était de la même grosseur que le bol de beurre à l'ail... Les crevettes cocktail étaient trop cuites, pas assez froides & vraiment petites. Les pâtes, plus qu'ordinaires. & les plats sont d'un prix indécent pour ce que nous avons. En conclusion, c'est malheureusement la dernière fois que nous irons.
Ma pire expérience dans un restaurant & cela a vie , McDo est meilleur
Le chef devrais aller prendre des cours de cuisine c'est une honte pour la communauté italienne

Nous avons retourné nos plats 2-3 fois pour la cuisson & quand ça reviens il n'y a plus de légumes ni d'accompagnements
Sa l'air garocher mcdo aurait été meilleur au gout & pour mon portefeuille vous faites dure pour un sois disant resto italien en plus vous répondez au avis seulement en anglais TO QUÉBEC ICITE

Degueux la viande de qualité médiocre Desserts goûtait l'eau de vaisselle j'ai recracher la seul bouche pris

chère pour la qualité,service extrêmement long le restaurant a perdu beaucoup de plume .
A voir la réction propriétaire ci-dessous mon problème n'étant pas le budget seulement la qualité des plats. vous etes une honte pour les chefs italien que jai cotoyé j'ajouterai même que vous avez été la pire expérience culinaire que j'ai eu de ma vie merci. Nous etions 20 vous avez fait au moin 3000$ qu on nous a charger cash pour une piêtre expérience.
Note: un cuisinier fumait la cigarette a l'interieur de la cuisine lorsque nous sommes parti ...très classe.
Qualite des plats exécrable le service etait très long (2 heure avant de recevoir les entrées) le brie était froidbref les 20 personnes avec qui j'y suis allé n'y retourneront jamais cet établissement n'est pas digne d'un resto italien.

One of the worst restaurant experiences. I would be embarrassed to serve most of the food that they had served me tonight. If you cannot serve something as simple as a burrata & tomato properly…how can you expect anything else to be good. & the list goes on… Price for quality, terrible.
Vraiment decu, la nourriture etait tout sauf frais gouteux & chaud

Crazy expensive food, portions are extremely small versus the price, & the taste of the food is nothing to brag about, (Wish I would have taken a picture of my plate; misto alla griglia at $60, literally 3 of the smallest pieces of meat I have ever seen on a plate with a handful of veggies). Beautiful place but not worth the price. So many better places.... save your money !!!
The food quality from this restaurant has gone down profusely. I used to love coming here but over time the prices have fluctuated immensely & the quality has gone down profusely. I used to come regularly here & order the same thing every time but every time i would go the price would rise & the quality would decrease. The last time i was there i was ripped off & the service fell short. Unfortunately I will not be returning.
