Absolutely one of the best steaks I've had in while! The price is slightly pricey but very worth it in my opinion. We started with the Popcorn shrimps, & got the Porterhouse T-bone to share between 4, along with sides of Mac&Cheese & Shrimps. Everything was so so delicious!! Totally recommend.View more

Steak was excellent, veg & potato ok but skimpy amounts. Poutine appetizer was very tasty, but calamari not so much, the sauce was just weirdly too sweet. Service was slow, barely acceptable & the waiter seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Can't imagine how badly tourists get treated. Overall din made it difficult to talk. Food was the only saving grace.View more

I ordered a steak for take out which was delicious! It was cooked perfectly & seasoned right. The Caesar salad was fresh & the vegetables were a nice blend of carrots & broccoli. I ordered a passion martini while waiting for the food. Highly recommend 👌 YUM!View more

What a beautiful, exceptional experience our group of three had!!! We were visiting from out of province. The service, recommendation, & efforts exceeded our expectation. Steak was tender, sides were fresh.

My partner ordered a well-done steak, which was prepared correctly. However, my medium steak arrived well-done. They did offer to remake mine. Interestingly, while my partner's steak was appropriately served without sauce as ordered, they brought me some extra sauce as an apology for the delay with my meal, which I didn't request. This felt a bit odd since we were both affected by the initial mistake with my order, leading to us eating separately & impacting our dining experience together. For a restaurant with high prices & ratings, this error & the somewhat uneven attempt at recovery were disappointing.View more

Atmosphere & ambiance excellent. Jimmy the Greek was amazing. Our starters were the crab cake & French knion soup....delicious. It was pleasure eating at the Vieux Port Steakhouse. Our waiter Jimmy was very personable & made our night a very special one. The Cesar salad was just right. Creamy dressing. I had the 10oz NY Steak & it was cooled right but would love a little more flavor & less fat. For dessert I had carrot cake. Oooo so yummy & what a large portion. Not the greatest restaurant experience we've had. The staff were friendly enough but there were only a few other customers seated in our section & it took over 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order, which was fine as we weren't in a rush & we're planning on spending some time here enjoying the evening. Once the drinks came out a few minutes later, the server took our food order, came back about 5 minutes later with some bread, & then immediately with our food. I have no idea how they were able to make two steaks in 5 minutes but I didn't even have time to butter my bread before I had my steak in front of me. We each ordered a NY striploin, one medium rare & the other medium rare Chicago (charred). Both came out rare & looked exactly the same (definitely not charred). The food was okay, definitely not worth the prices they charge though. Finished with carrot cake which was bland with no spice & tasted like it came from a cheap grocery store, & a creme brulee which was chunky & had obviously scrambled. The espresso we ordered after was the best part of the meal for me.nice atmosphere with a fireplace & fairly cozy. The cocktails were very good.View more

I reserved a spot, called 15 minutes before when I realised I was going to be late, there were not problems with that. Very grateful for the lack of complications
I arrive with my girlfriend & they give us a nice spot with only other couples & good sound isolation meaning we can't hear the other loud tables.
The food is impeccable, the cocktails were delicious, the service was so kind. They were about to give me the wrong food so to make up for it we got another round of cocktails & free dessert which is so generous.
Might I add that the mashed potatoes are so perfectly salted & creamy.
The steak is on another level with how flavourful the crust is & how well they can cook cuts such as rib steak & sirloin NY style.
The desserts were something else too. I loved the red velvet & the icing was perfect. Tasty but not too sweet which is the reason I dislike most icings, but not this one. The cheesecake was so airy & the crust wasn't crumbly but still perfectly firm.
Also make sure to get the caesar salad. The dressing they use is on another level & it has an amazing creaminess to it as well as a perfect aftertaste.
10/10 - will come back here consistently for any occasion.View more

Service was really warm & nice & the prices aren't bad at all but the food is quite poor. Crab cake was frozen in the middle, the bread is low quality, steaks were overcooked, lobster was rubber, fries weren't made in house or served hot. I'm sure some people like this traditional (outdated) steakhouse but I won't be returning. No problem & all the best to them!View more
