They chose their beer with care and aim for the best quality in brands such as: la Barberie, l`Alchimiste, Bièropholie, le Chaudron and more. Warm ambiance, good food & excellent drink selection (liquor & non-alcoholic). One of my favourite pubs in Montreal, they have stellar seasonal beers! The servers are always so kind & knowledgeable. One of my all time favourite spots in Montréal. Been here countless times over the last many years to enjoy their plethora of beer options. It's the default hangout spot with friends any day of the week. Food, drinks, atmosphere, music selection, & beer knowledge from the employees will not disappoint! We are tourists from Toronto, coming for this restaurant for a lunch break. The male server is not quite happy that we didn't order drinks. & give altitudes towards us, when we try to ask questions as first time clients. No allowed to check google reviews & order from the comment, coz the menu isn't correct. I understand that might mislead some food menu. But the rude explanation & altitude is not comfortable.View more

I was having a really lovely time, good choice of drinks, cheeseboard was good if a little meat heavy, buzzy atmosphere, then it came to pay. Knowing I had cash on me I only put a small tip on when paying for my food & drinks. I went to get some more tip cash from my purse & before I had chance the waitress starts dressing me down for not tipping enough, that I should be tipping at least 15% , pointing to the suggested gratuity on the bill. It's not a suggested gratuity if your staff expect it, it's an expected gratuity. I could have tipped nothing. There's no raised words, I show I understand, she carries on with her work & I decide to leave only some of the cash I intendedView more
