tartare(39) bistro(27) salad(24) dessert(21) decor(21) qualite(18) cocktail(16) burger(16) recommend(15)I stopped by after a long day & had an early dinner of mussels & fries. Absolutely perfect. Look at the photos: a delightful simple salad, then the mussels & yummy fries. I wanted an after dinner drink but didn't know which one to have. The waitress recommended the Pineau des Charentes which was amazing. I can't wait to visit again when I'm in town.Voir plus
Super resto ! On a adoré le décors & l'ambiance cosy Menu intéressant & varié, mélange de cuisine française & québécoise revisité Le pouding chômeur est à essayer absolument !! Service impeccable 5⭐️Voir plus
The food & cocktails were delicious! Service was great. The staff were friendly & attentive. Overall, we had a lovely experience!Voir plus
Made reservation online. Show up & the restaurant is closed. Website hours said open, Google said open, & I think even the front door hours said open. So, I guess call & make sure they're open & reserve that way.
Stopped in late, a couple on their way out told us we were making the right choice, & they were right! Very friendly waitstaff, great food. The maple pudding is an exceptional dessert, not to be missed. Definitely worth a visit.Voir plus
Was on holiday in Montréal earlier this month & visited this restaurant three times. The mushroom toast is one of the best things I've tasted!! French onion soup & steak & frites so good too! Service was very friendly. I can't wait to return!!Voir plus

I went to Vallier for lunch, had moules frites. Delicious food, great atmosphere & very welcoming & attentive staff. Definitely adding Vallier to my go to spots!Voir plus
Their salads were really good - a nice difference to steak & fries 🙂Voir plus
I gave a 3 because although the food was decent (not amazing, but still good), the way the waiter used his kindness against us was way too much. Let me explain. As a waitress, I totally understand what suggestive selling is; however, too much of that is not good. For almost every meal or drink we ordered, the waiter had something to say about it. Regardless if it was insisting that we take on a bigger portion, strongly recommending a wine while ordering food, insisting on another drink, suggesting to add a protein to a meal, & the cherry on top, strongly (& when I say strongly, I mean it) suggesting the way we should split bills between us. This waiter has no idea what our relationships all are between us nor does he know our individual financial means. I found it truly insulting that this waiter almost forced us to split the whole bill in equal amounts when we all ordered different things, did not share at all & definitely do not have the same means. In no way is this his responsibility to decide upon that. We were all really confused about it & thank god, after my friend refusing his offer twice, he ended up bringing one bill for the whole table. Not the best, but at least now we could decide how to split it. I know what was this waiter's name, but since he was really nice overall, I don't want to put the whole blame on him. I am not sure if this is how employees are trained there, but that is not the way to go. Apart from that, as I said the food was good, but portions could have been bigger for the price. I was expecting way more flavours for "higher-end" food based on the prices. Atmosphere was all right, the music was loud, but it was okay for a restaurant. I am not sure if this is a tourists trap, but as someone from this city, I would not recommend unfortunately.
