The person who greets you at the register is always smiling, she's extremely nice & polite. I bring the cheesecakes to family gathering & everyone loves them. Also, fyi, there's a sign inside that says the cakes are nut free.View more
I love japan because of that cheesecake, it's not the same one you eat in Japan but is almost the same, sorry for the half cake family couldn't wait for me to take a picture they open it & cut it fast, however it's so light & fluffy

You cannot say you visited Montreal if you haven't sneaked a taste of their Japanese cheesecake!View more
Here's the corrected version: First time trying a Japanese cheesecake, & I loved it! The place is very well located, the staff is friendly, & the service is surprisingly fast. The flavor is light, but you can still taste the cheese & sweetness in just the right amount. I will definitely go back & try the chocolate cheesecake.View more
The go to Japanese bakery if you crave for bake soufflé cake. They also offer a few other different pastries but the best is to eat it while it's still warm & out of the oven. Make sure you drop by & try it.View more
It's a quaint little shop offering Japanese cheesecakes in three delightful flavors, along with tarts & cookies. My personal favorite is the original cheesecake, & their charming packaging adds to the experience. If you find yourself near the downtown area, it's definitely worth a try.View more
Small shop for take out only. They have some of the fluffiest & very soft Japanese cheesecakes in Montreal. This cheesecake has a very unique taste & texture. It is fluffy & light at the same time. It's not overly sweet & it has a balanced sweetness that makes it a pleasant treat. Best cheesecake i ever had. i just love it. Would recommend for sure.View more
Small shop for take out only. They have some of the fluffiest Japanese cheesecakes in Montreal. I took 3 different kind Original, Chocolate & Matcha. We enjoyed all of them but my personal favourite this time was the chocolate. CheersView more
Been a fan of Uncle Tetsu since they opened their location here in Montreal, & have purchased their cheesecakes, cookies & madeleines.
I’ve tried three of their Japanese cheesecake flavours & the original is definitely my favourite, the matcha comes in a close second & the chocolate third- though all three taste great regardless.
Yesterday, I stopped by at around 7:45pm & ordered their combo deal: buy 1 cheesecake & 4 madeleines, get 1 (5th) madeleine for free.
I went with their original cheesecake, 4 matcha madeleines & chose the original-flavoured madeleine as my 5th.
Safe to say that they most certainly did not disappoint, both the madeleines & the cheesecake.
The madeleines were moist (the matcha ones also had red beans inside, at the bottom), & after leaving the cheesecake in the fridge for a couple hours to cool down, it tasted amazing (just like how I remembered).
Moreover, the male worker who served me was polite & friendly. He quickly prepared my order & I left the shop very satisfied.
I’ll surely be coming by again when the cravings hit &/or when my friends & I plan a girls night, as you cannot go wrong with Uncle Tetsu’s light + fluffy cheesecake as a dessert.View more

I was thrilled when I found out that there are Japanese cheesecakes in Montreal. They are very cheesy & light. We were very pleased 🥰
They also offer tarts & cupcakes. It's a pity they don't have their own seating area; you can only get them to go.View more
