This place is absolutely stunning! I wanted to give it a 5 but my food was beyond chewy. I ordered the octopus, it was plated so beautifully. I expected an easy to cut soft texture. Unfortunately it was super hard to cut & extremely chewy. I'm typically a huge fan of octopus, so I was pretty disappointed. I still shared my meal & ate what I could. Everyone else's meal looked great. The jersey shore fries were bomb! Our group enjoyed it throughly. The service was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly & welcoming. We were visiting from Toronto. I can't say enough about the decor here. I would honestly recommend it for a photo op with your girls or as a couple. They nailed the Greek aesthetic. Definitely would recommend trying them out!View more

Great location & cozy ambiance in the old port. Service wasn't bad but could be better in terms of hospitality & making an effort. The food was very good overall, especially the grill platters. However the Moussaka, while it tasted alright, wasn't really authentic. The flavours & consustency were completely off, unlike a proper Moussaka. The spanakopita was too oily. Still recommend this place, just wouldn't say it's authentic Greek.View more

Food: I ordered the lunch special, the fries (not in picture) were crispy, & the salad had good olive oil. However, the chicken was really dry. Service was good. Atmosphere was lively! It is a great lunch spot with coworkers.View more

I tried to get into this place last year during a trip to Montreal, but was unsuccessful as they were full. This year I went a little earlier & was able to get a seat at the bar - since I was solo & they were again very busy. This was a bit of luck, as the bartender, Jimmy, was a gem. He was taking care of the people seated at the bar, plus making all the drinks for the tables. He understood the assignment & kept my water glass full. (It is very hot in Montréal right now, & I was downing glass after glass of water.) He also made me a delicious limoncello spritz (which went down way too easily) & took my food order. I ordered the calamari as I'd had a late lunch & only wanted something light. My food arrived quickly & I wasn't disappointed. The calamari was lightly breaded, cooked to perfection & came with a lovely creamy, garlicky sauce. I did experience a bit of food envy when I saw the wonderful platters of dips with pita & kebab platters coming out of the kitchen for my fellow bar diners. Next trip to Montreal, I will reserve a table in advance & come with my full appetite to experience some of the wonderful dishes that I saw. I may even bring a friend!View more
