The vibe is super chill, the staff are friendly, & the Greek comfort food really hits the spot. Portions are generous (the gyros & chicken pita are legit), & it's an easy go-to if you're in the Old Port & want something tasty without going full fine dining. Would definitely go back with friends for drinks & snacks that turn into a full meal.
The table & I thought it was very good. The food was very decent, however the gyro chicken was very dry, which was unfortunate. The waitress was good & friendly & the food was very quick.
Great Greek resto!! I was craving Greek food after coming back from Bota Bota & found this place on google maps. Pictures & reviews looked good, so i went & it definitely did not disappoint!! Waitresses were super kind, food was delicious, & service was quick!!
I ordered the chicken pita & it was so juicy & huuuuge!! It came with a yummy rice, delicious fries, & a beautiful salad!! Everything was so fresh!!
I will definitely be coming back!
Went Thursday evening, ordered a Sapporo, none left, Waitress didn't know had water all night due to the lack of beverage selection. Ordered a gyro plate received a chicken souvlaki pita???
Was told that was the gyro plate not what I expected, should have been told, service slow that we had to ask for another waitress. Second waitress did a better job. Too expensive for a pita souvlaki. Don't think I would go back
Loved everything about this restaurant! Our waitress was incredibly attentive & accommodating. She happily adjusted the dishes to our needs & answered all our menu questions with patience.
We ordered the Kota Chicken Skewer & the Kota Pita with chicken, & both were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the chicken was tender & flavorful, & the tzatziki sauce was perfectly creamy & tasty.
Will definitely be coming back!
I ordered the lunch set. I chose a pita sandwich of chicken & salad. the sandwich was cold. the fried potatos which was inside of sandwich were also cold. The taste was not very good.
Tried the lunch menu with chicken Gyros, Salad & fries today, delicious meal, good service & cute restaurant. 22$ for this meal
I may seem strange to be seeking out a Greek restaurant in a largely French part of Canada, but Tzatzi-Qui (a take-off on tzatziki, a creamy yogurt sauce typically served with gyros) is worth a trip. The Dolmades (Dolma Dakia on the menu) & Calamari were excellent, The mixed Gyro plate, however, was disappointing. The chicken was very good, but the pork was overcooked. Nevertheless, if I find myself back in Old Montreal, I would give it another go. Perhaps the chef just had an off night. There's lovely outdoor seating, friendly servers, & excellent wine, & the food we had was more than enough. One suggestion...if you're going for dinner, either arrive early or phone ahead for a reservation. It's a very popular place!
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time through Uber Eats & was looking forward to trying the chicken brocheyte platter. The chicken was very tender & had great flavor, which I appreciated! However, both the chicken & the rice were overly salty, which unfortunately overpowered the dish & made it difficult to finish. The rice itself was also quite mediocre in texture & taste.
The Greek salad wasn't very fresh & didn't have a good balance of ingredients. I also found the tzatziki to be far too salty..
Overall, I had higher expectations & hope the restaurant can improve the seasoning & quality of its sides in the future.
Melia was so patient & helpful in helping us select from the menu. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING was great! Had chicken skewers & veggie pita. This is a must visit when in Montreal!
I stumbled upon this gem of a Greek restaurant & was completely blown away! From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming vibe set the perfect tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.
The highlight? Discovering their rich, creamy Tzatzi-qui-hands down the best I've ever had. Perfectly tangy with just the right hit of garlic & freshness from the cucumber. It was addictive.
I went with the Mid Express option & wow-what a feast! It starts with a hearty, flavorful soup (you can choose between chicken or pork), which was both comforting & deeply savory. Then came the main: a choice of chicken, pork, or veggie pita, served with crispy golden fries or a fresh, zesty salad. I chose chicken & fries, & every bite was pure bliss. The pita was soft, stuffed with tender, juicy meat, & generously topped with that incredible Tzatziki.
Portions were generous, prices were super reasonable, & the quality? Exceptional. Whether you're a Greek food lover or just looking to try something new, don't miss this place. I'll be dreaming about that Mid Express combo for a while!
Chicken soup was a bit bland, though it had a good anount of actual chicken. Rest of meal was good.
We went here for dinner & it was so lovely!!! The food was incredible & the service was excellent. We ordered the chicken skewer plate & shared it & highly recommend it. It was the kind of meal you feel good after eating & you can tell they use high quality ingredients.
This review is from someone who is Greek & we love our food so gyro was good , filet mignon was dry & had no flavour, definitely not grilled but seared & put in oven, chicken skewer was dry ,rice needed flavour (Greeks don't eat rice it's a North American thing), saganaki was not good & way to thin, especially for what you pay, drinks were ok, was gonna have the lamb but when I read it comes with a mint sauce that was sad , Greeks don't do mint with lamb, got a feeling the owner is not Greek, there is no Greek restaurant that offer mint with lamb, tzatziki needs more garlic, but that atmosphere is nice just the food wasn't up to par♂️
We have had two wonderful experiences at Tzatzi-qui. We enjoyed the atmosphere, service & the food. The chicken slouvaki & the gyro plate were our favourites! We finished both nights off with baclava of course. So good. Jimmy was excellent & made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this Greek restaurant if you are eating in old Montreal.
Loved this place while walking around the city. Our bartender was on point & graced us with his talents. Service was friendly & quick. The chicken pita wrap & fries were solid choices. Very enjoyable food & atmosphere!
Great environment & very tasty food! Chicken skewers were so flavourful, & the fried zucchini was so crispy! The wait staff were always around to provide what we needed. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
We were so happy to find this corner restaurant across from a park. The chicken gyro was amazing & the jersey shore fries topped it off. A must try
Food: I ordered the lunch special, the fries (not in picture) were crispy, & the salad had good olive oil. However, the chicken was really dry. Service was good. Atmosphere was lively! It is a great lunch spot with coworkers.
