Malheureusement je ne mangerai plus jamais de poutine a cette endroit... je vais y allez fort mais c'est une vraie honte pour les Quebecois! la poutine Whiskey est affreusement sec avec très peu de fromage & de sauce. le reste on goute les oignions frits ou de la viande pas trop assaisonnées. je vais tenter les burger un jour mais sur place seulement..
Working in Montreal for a couple of weeks & it's dinnertime. I usually will head into downtown to get dinner, but I was feeling lazy this evening so I did some Yelp'ing around what was near me. I found Twister Burger which was didn't have a large amount of ratings, but they had a big menu so I chose them! Here's how it went. Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right off a pretty wide street that doesn't seem like a main road is this gem. There's no private parking lot so you'll have to park on the street in the neighborhood, but I didn't have a hard time finding space. Once inside you're transported back to like... the 40s? 50s? Whenever the soda fountain era was with the black/white checkered walls, neon lights & the whole thing. Lol. It was cute. The restaurant is fairly small & that's okay! It makes for a more comfortable & cozy feel. I got my food to go so I didn't have to stay long. Service: The gentlemen behind the counter was very helpful & make sure I got everything that I needed. He also helped me since most of the menus are in French. Food: I started off with their Taco Salad, but as of now I don't see it listed on their menu anymore. Anyway, it's basically their now Southwest Salad which contains mixed greens, corn, red onion, avocado, fried tortillas & shredded cheese, served with chipotle ranch. But instead of being in a bowl, it's in a fluffy, crispy taco shell which was very flavorful & enjoyable. It worked well. The name of the place is called Twisted Burger so I had to try at least one of them. I decided on the Trio Diablo Burger which is 130g beef (1/3 lb), jalapenos, monterrey jack cheese, habanero salsa, grilled onion, chipotle mayonnaise & lettuce, & tomatoes. It kinda slid apart in transport, but I was able to put it back together at my hotel room & it was fine. Nothing super crazy or explosive to report. It was a decent burger & satisfied my cravings for sure. The beer-battered onion rings were okay too. Nothing special & I don't think I was expecting anything out of this world either. Most beer-battered onion rings taste the same, so it's good that it's a familiar flavor to recognize. Value: My taco salad was $14.95CAD, my burger was $10.95CAD & my onion rings were $4.95CAD. This is a GREAT DEAL on the amount of food I had for sure. Looking for a cheap date, something quick, nothing fancy, I dig this place for sure.
Reste faire les resto comme La Cage, pour un bon burger. Ces un droit de passage d'aller au Twisted Burger. Voici la recette du succès. Un Burger, des frites & un milkshake. J'ai conduit 30 min pour y aller & j'ai pas de regrets. Ça devrais passé sur une émission télé un jour. Hey c'étais bon!!!

Il y a toujours un hic a quelque part ! Hier ,ce fût une poutine avec des cubes de fromage & non du fromage en grain & une sauce atrocement forte , tout comme un mélange de bouillon de boeuf non dilué ! (beurk pour vrai) Sinon les burger & la frite étaient excellents! & une charge d'extra sur la facture pour remplacer le fromage suisse par du cheddar régulier ne devrait pas être un option d'échange ! (assez ordinaire) Bon , a chacune des visites , le resto est très tranquille & ca explique surement le pourquoi que ce restaurant n'est pas a la hauteur de talent! C'était ma 3eme ou 4eme visites depuis leur ouverture & surement la dernière !
They can't get their orders right, order & pay for twisted fries & got normal fries, but fries were good.... I don't suggest eating the blt burger. It's rather tasteless. Eating nothing wouldve tasted as good, overall, my order was a Fail
Le service était excellent! L'option viande impossible, est une belle initiative. Le heart attack burger par contre ne goûtait rien. & 17$ pour un hamburger & frites sans liqueur, c'est bcp trop chère.

Ordered through uber eats with their 2 for 1 sale. At $15 + tax the trio that's a good deal with the 2 for 1 but for the regular price, its a bit more expensive than other fast foods & personally I didn't think it was better taste wise. Don't take me wrong, the burger & the fries were not bad.. but nothing extraordinary either. I'd also like to mention that we ordered 2 trios (4 because of the 2 for 1) & they sent the 4 burgers & the 4 fries on the bottom of the bag, with the 4 cold soda cans on top. Final results: The food arrived not as hot & the sodas not as cold. Come on people, this is basic 101 delivery (or maybe even basic logic). Put the sodas on a separate bag!!
It was GREAT! The restaurant decor is a fun retro look & clean. The burgers & fries are so good & we love choices of beverages & Stewarts soda. It took a bit to be served, but the wait & cost is worth the fresh, delicious food. We will go back for sure. I don't want burgers anywhere else now.
