The bowl are not too small or too big, its a very fair portion. The place is extremely clean & the service was excellent. The ramen noodles are delicious, soft & they digest easily. They arent too heavy on the belly. The miso broth was absolutely perfect. A smooth rich creamy texture, I cannot recommend it enough. The black garlic ramen was also good but its missing the small kick that the miso brings. I also had the mango cheesecake which was very soft & pillowy. For the price & the quality of the food this restaurant is a must if you are a fan of ramens.View more
What a lovely surprise! A nice Japanese tapas like eatery in VSL. Ramen noodle portion was smaller than what I'm used to but still good.View more
very good experience! Good ramens for the price, the appetizers were really great too & amazing quality for the price! The decor is very nice & good ambiance!View more
Now that they finished the decor, it feels super cozy & welcoming. The ramen is mostly pork-broth & traditional. Everything we've tried is great at both the Mile-End one & this one: Ramens, Karaage, donburi, takoyaki, dumplings - really tasty & affordable. Their seasonal drinks & happy hour are a good value too :)View more
First time was a great experience. Ramen was top notch, & reasonably priced. Only critique is they need larger bowls for their dipping sauces. Will definitely go back!
My friend wanted me to experience ramen for the first time & brought me to this place. It became a must go every week. The karaage is delicious, & all the ramen are tasty.View more
View more
A formidable contender to Yokato Yokabai on Saint Laurent! I find the restaurant to have more variety & offers dishes that really introduces new experience for your taste buds. Its Goma Salmon & Ika Age (deep-fried calamari) are to die for. The chef was very generous. The Goma Salmon dish is supposed to only come with four pieces of salmon but the chef gave us five pieces each & it was very delicious. The only thing that I would mention is that if you have small children eating this dish, be sure to cut the salmon into smaller pieces as the salmon pieces are soaked in sauces & they can become very slippery & can be a potential choking hazard especially for small children or anybody who have reflex issues. We took the original Chatsu Tonkotsu ramen noodles with pork. The noodles is silky smooth & all of the toppings especially the egg all taste exquisitely. They don't overwhelm your taste buds but they slowly immerses your taste buds in its rich flavours leaving you wanting for more. & don't be fooled by the bowl size. It's VERY filling. The Sakura & the Japanese painting in the decorations is just beautiful. Be sure to bring your camera & make sure it's charged cuz you will be taking lots of photos.View more
Everything was excellent! The food was fantastic as usual. This is our second time visiting this restaurant after the MTL À Table event. The chef was very generous. We ordered the Goma Salmon which is an outstanding dish. The dish comes with only 4 pieces of salmon but the chef decided to give us 5 pieces instead. It was delicious! & the ramen noodle soup was extremely tasty without the addition of MSG!
The restaurant is beautifull, & the ramen is both delicious & reasonably priced. The waitress was incredibly sweet, & before you leave, you absolutely must try the pumpkin Krokke it's delicious!View more
I tried this place a year ago, their noodles were ok. Not sure why they temporarily closed & have another grand opening. That said, I thought they adjusted their menu a bit so, I went back for their reopening & gave it another try. Nope. Still the same. Their soup was on the bland side, lacking flavor. Their noodles were soggy, I think it is the type of noodle they used. The pork, although they were generous with the portion (compared to other ramen places such as Kinton), the texture is rather rough & also a little bland. Overall, both my wife & I did not overly enjoy their soups nor noodles, it was OK. We also tried their takoyaki & friend calamari & it was the only thing that we liked. That said, if you are a ramen lover & enjoy a more mild flavor type of soup, still give this place a try, it might be for you.View more
My table waited 30+ mins between the first appetizer & the second one. Flow of service was better afterwards. However, our waitress messed up our bills making one party pay more than the bill itself. We went back for an explanation/refund but they couldn't do anything about it unless everyone comes back for a refund altogether. So the restaurant gave us one free bowl of ramen as compensation & we left it at that
We decided to try Tsukuyomi Ramen as part of the Mtl à Table event from November 3 to 19 because it offered an interesting 4-service menu. We were a big group & some of us took the event's menu to share the appetizers & some of us ordered from the regular menu. Even though I didn't order from the event's menu, I did get to try the Tuna Tataki, which was very nicely seared & had a delicious ponzu sauce, & the Ika-Age, which was fried perfectly & was very crispy. I also really enjoyed the cheesecake, both mango & green tea flavours were delicious. For the main course, I ordered the Miso Ramen Vegan, the broth was flavourful & I love that it came with the thicker noodles. Service was quick & friendly. Nicely decorated restaurant. We were very happy with our experience. Will happily return for some delicious ramen.View more
It's the second time i've visited this place, first time the tonkotsu chashu ramen was amazing, this time the pork was a bit chewy!View more
I ate in order: Takoyaki, a Chashu Tonkotsu ramen, drank a Matcha & then ate a mango cheesecake. They were all delicious. Very pretty restaurant & nice staff as well. There weren’t a lot of people when I went as I arrived relatively early, so, I got easy access to the staff.View more
Ramen was tasty. Rice bowls & Kara Age were just ok. Honestly, the portions are too small for the price. Left still hungry for a bill that didn’t match. Maybe worth it to try the Ramen once, but probably won’t be coming back.View more
Great authentic Japanese ramen & side dishes to share. The Tonkotsu ramen (porc) is my all time favourite.View more
Located in the most recent development of the Quartier Bois-Franc, Tsukuyomi is in a small commercial section that faces Henri-Bourassa West & opposite the IGA. The resto is designed in a modern izakaya style with bleached wood furnishings & a generally lighter & airier experience than a typical dark wooded izakaya.
The menu is ramen focus (both hot & cold)...for our meal we ordered Chicken Tonkotsu (good but a little bland), Goma Salmon (very good), Gyoza (very good...a classic), Pumpkin Korroke (interesting...not bad, just interesting), & Karaage Donburi (good...but a bit plane...just fried chicken in a plain rice bowl). The service was very friendly & attentive. Overall a worthy visit & good to have a decent Japanese resto in that part of town. Enjoy!View more

It’s more of a 4.5 rating for me, as I wish they had just a little more variety of tonkotsu ramens. But the one they have is pretty good.View more
We ordered fried chicken, fried calamari, cold chicken sesame oil ramen & traditional ramen.
Everything was delicious. Not too salty, & just enough flavor to hit the spot. I don't know how to describe it, but the flavors, textures & cook just felt 'right'.
Highly recommended.View more

First time having Ramen. I was blown away! Great food & service! Highly recommend!
