Japanese Ramen restaurant. Specializes in Fukuoka style Tonkotsu Ramen. Home made creamy Tonkotsu broth, organic, totally Non-MSG. Also serves some small side dishes and Japanese beer.
Been here multiple times & It's always great, the vibe & decor is really nice, even when the place is packed the service is quite fast, & it doesn't feel overcrowded because of the layout. Staff is super friendly & the food is DELICIOUS!
I've invited different different friend groups & they all loved it & have gone back since.
An awesome cozy place to eat for a really reasonable price. 💯
Really like the noodle style! Enjoy this dinner tonight! Will come again again.
Amazing decor, quiet. Staff also very nice. Just the don a little bit cold. I will only order the ramen next time. & also why ramen without corn’
Anyway it’s good to try.
Atmosphere is very cute. Ramen is very average. Smaller portion size than what is typically served at authentic Japanese ramen shops. The extra toppings I ordered were noticeably cold. Tonkatsu broth was just average. It’s decidedly not authentic ramen, but that’s alright if you’re just looking for a quick fix.
Highly recommended!!!!!! The cold reman with sesame sauce was unbeatable. I said to myself I have to go back to try the truffle sauce version of that. It was even better!!!!! All of my folks agreed that they all had good food at this place. The decor of this place is funky & amazing!!! The staff was exceptionally friendly!!!!
Great ramen & I like their cold noodles. The restaurant is in the middle of St Catherine Street area. Great location. & it has interesting decor. Definitely go back again
Ordered the tonkotsu & miso ramen as well as the sashimi, karaage & the octopus balls. Karaage is great - one of the best we have ever had - large pieces (just four though), super crunchy & well seasoned. The sashimi is fresh - again, just four thin slices & a bit too much ponzu sauce. Octopus balls are nothing to write home about. However, we were here for the ramen. 1st the good - & the only - the noodles were excellent. Chewy & slurpy worthy. However, the broth was way too thick & in particular, the miso one had a funky (not in a good way) taste. Can't recommend the ramen here. The wait staff is good. So, overall the joint gets a 3 star rating
Cold noodles: they are all the same except that they have different sauces. It's very refreshing & light to eat, escpecially on a hot summer day. However, I do not recommend the truffle one. Although you can smell the truffle in the oil, there is no truffle flavor at all.
Dan dan mazemen: creamy, pretty good despite the weak spice level
Takoyaki: favorite appetizer
Salmon bowl: not worth the price, very boring wasabi-based sauce for the salmon.
Honestly, I would recommend the cold noodles here, since it's not something that's setved everywhere. The rest is so-so. Beautiful decor & great service though.
