I've been going to this restaurant for almost a year now.
The tikka chicken roll is truly the most incredible sandwich ever. With fresh homemade naan, juicy chicken & the perfect spicy sauce, I haven't found anything like it. The place is cute & the staff is friendly. I've tried other things on the menu like the lamb curry & it is also delicious.
The only reason why I am giving it 3 stars is for the inconsistency. I've had 3 times that I waited more than 1 hour for an order of two sandwiches, & the restaurant was nearly empty. But I keep maintaining the thought that it is still more worth & tastier than going at McDo. As well as the importance of supporting small & local businesses. However, in the past few months, the rolls have been a'hit or miss' experience. Sometimes it was missing ingredients, like the onions for example.
The other day I ordered through UberEats for my whole family to enjoy & the naans had been swapped for a tortilla bread, the sizes were almost half of its usual & the sauce was different (tasted more like mustard). It was a big disappointment & drop in quality of what this restaurant had got me used to.
We were looking for an Indian restaurant & find this restaurant on Google. We were very pleased with the food. We ordered the butter chicken, spicy meat ball & naan. It became my favorite Indian restaurant. Plus, the waitress was super nice & we also got to try one of their new drink ☺?
If you look for a good Indian restaurant, you should definitely go est at Tru India 😊
Terrible food quality & highly unprofessional staff. I ordered the tandoori chicken platter from Tru India (near Snowdon Metro), & it was an absolutely terrible experience. The chicken was smelly, hard, & completely lacked any flavor or taste. When we brought the food back to the counter to ask for a refund, the way they handled it was shocking. The serving staff member, Keerath, & the manager were both extremely rude. They made us wait for 45 minutes without a proper response. To make matters worse, it seems there are no real chefs in the back; the manager was the only person cooking. Throughout our wait, he showed a horrible attitude, was dismissive, & completely ignored our concerns.I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. The food quality is severely lacking, & the customer service is practically nonexistent.

food was impeccable, service was amazing & Kirad was such a kind & efficient server & made our experience lovely. Would recommend the butter chicken & chili garlic naan
The food was disappointing but the service is good. The waitress is very sweet & hard working.
But the food was not spiced well, didn't taste good.
We ordered the Rogan Josh, Palak Paneer, the Tandoori platter & Naans.
The Rogan Josh looked good in other reviews but it was an orange almost sour gravy that we got.
All the chicken in the tandoor platter was raw! Nothing was marinated either
The palak paneer was a saving grace but despite asking for spicy, it was not salted well & barely spiced.
wow just wow. we looked for a last minute indian restaurant (i was craving a butter chicken) let me tell you my expectations have been blown out of the water. that first bite with the cheese naan really made my dopamine go off. reaaaally recommend to anyone & i will come back (every week possibly) they cooked & we left no crumbs
Worst food I ever had in Montreal. I ordered chicken tikka masala, first of all it was too too sweet & I want to know who puts Capsicum in chicken tikka masala. I have always seen Capsicum in kadhai chicken or chicken do pyazza. & the ambiance & table cloth was too smelly. If you are desi please don't go there.
