La nourriture est excellente du début à la fin et les portions généreuses, avec des gnocchis légers et une pizza cuite à la perfection, des plats comme lasagne maison et tortellini quattro formaggi qui montrent le soin apporté à chaque recette. Le service est impeccable, attentif et courtois, et l'accueil chaleureux donne l'impression d'être reçu comme des amis de longue date, une clientèle fidèle revenant année après année. L'atmosphère italienne est bien rendue, parfois rythmée par la musique live, ce qui convient aussi bien pour un tête à tête que pour partager entre amis. Si l'on passe dans le coin, c'est une adresse à ne pas manquer pour une expérience culinaire remarquable à bon prix, avec un cadre agréable et une ambiance qui donne envie de revenir encore et encore. The good: one of the best calamari ive had, lightly battered & crisped, very tender, not chewy or rubbery at all & good portion. Gnocchi was also delicious, well cooked & great sauce & portion again.
The bad: we had the Lanni pizza, it was extremely salty, had trouble eating it. & then the dessert, portions were tiny & extremely expensive. $13 for 3 bites of a wet tiramisu, very disappointing
If you're true Italian, do not come here. The tomato sauce was appalling, the spaghetti were overcooked, the pizza looked more like a wet undercooked cracker. The free bread was nice & the service while slow, was okay.

Dining at Trattoria Lani was a truly heartwarming experience. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, inviting ambiance made us feel like we were guests in a charming Italian home. The service was warm, attentive, & genuine-our server made us feel cared for without being overbearing.
We started with a classic Margherita pizza, which was fresh & flavorful, with a perfectly blistered crust & vibrant tomato sauce. The prosciutto & arugula pizza was a standout-salty, peppery, & beautifully balanced. The gnocchi was light & pillowy, served in a rich sauce that made every bite melt in your mouth. The tortellini quattro formaggi was indulgent & satisfying, with a creamy cheese blend that hit all the right notes.
Every dish was executed with love & authenticity. Trattoria Lani isn't just a place to eat-it's a place to relax, connect, & enjoy truly great Italian food.
Always inviting; always delicious. Dined wth a real estate client of mine there last evening & had an absolute divine Caesar Salad, followed by a Linguine with Rosé Bolognese Sauce that was simply out of this world! We were never hurried by staff & enjoyed our slow pleasant cozy evening. Do not hesitate to try this exceptional local Vaudreuil Italian eatery for yourself! *I also added a picture of one of their amazing pizzas from a previous dinner there. Fantastico!
I recently dined at this incredible Italian restaurant & was blown away by the delicious food & warm atmosphere. The homemade lasagna was a standout dish, perfectly layered with rich sauce & melted cheese. Each bite was a burst of authentic Italian flavors that left me craving more. The service was impeccable, & the staff made me feel like a valued guest. I can't wait to return for another amazing meal at this five-star establishment. Grazie mille!
So, let me tell you, the food there was on fire! It was hot & fresh, just the way I like it. & the bread, oh man, it was like it came straight out of the oven. So warm & soft, I couldn't resist having more. But let's talk about the homemade lasagna. It was seriously to die for! The layers of pasta, the flavorful sauce, the melted cheese... it was a taste explosion in my mouth. I couldn't get enough of it! Now, let me tell you about the amazing service. The host & waitress were so sweet & accommodating. They made me feel right at home & took care of all my needs. They were friendly, attentive, & went above & beyond to ensure I had a great dining experience. Overall, I can't recommend Trattoria Lanni enough. The food is top-notch, the bread is freshly baked, the homemade lasagna is out of this world, & the service is absolutely fantastic. It's a must-visit place for anyone looking for a delicious meal & a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! 🍝😊
The atmosphere is nice feels a family restaurant however the food needs more flavour. Everything we ordered was bland we were at this restaurant fir the first time in November, I was very happy with my ceasar salad but my osso bucco was no where close to osso bucco plus the taste was so bland & off the Risotto tasted old & bland. Yesterday we went back to give them another chance still I was disappointed with the flavour, nothing tasted good missing salt, missing flavour everything was bland I tasted my daughter pastes & sauce was as if the chef just opened the sauce box & heated it & pumped it on top of the pasta too watery also. My mother in law veal was dry over cooked & the cream sauce had no flavour, my pizza so disappointing, ordered the same pizza to go for my son to try it , & he told me the same no flavour. The restaurant need renovations the chairs were wobbly & tables are too tight to each other the waiters could not pass through. The service is excellent though. Overall the restaurant had potential but need menue & the chef needs to add flavour to his dishes. I will not go back again.

This place is incredible. The sauces are amazing & you can tell this is genuine Italian food. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Service was fantastic & the atmosphere was great as well. Try to save room for dessert, because the cheesecake was off the chain!
We went here for our anniversary. Chose it because it was mentioned that it was family owned & operated. The hubby had fried calamari which he rated as 3*... it seemed like it was made from frozen, still tasted good but no tentacles & just a little but chewy but flavour good. He had 4 cheese tortellini which was delicious! Would be nice if there was a rose option. I had veal marsala which was spot on! Not too sweet, Mushrooms seemed fresh, veal prepared very good & tender & sauce delicious! Green beans were exceptional (I wouldn't usually rate the vegetables but they really were great! They brought us lemon cake for dessert which was also delicious! Definitely would recommend & will go back! I can't see how you would be disappointed!!! I am not family or friend-I just believe in giving compliments when it's due!
Love this place! We usually get take out & it's always amazing, very consistent.
08/25/2023 Update, bought two 1 liter Arrabiata sauces & 250ml of the spicy oil. Cost $48.00 tax in. I sadly can't afford this anymore!
We spent a night near Montreal on a recent road trip & chose Trattoria Lanni based on great traveler reviews. Charming bistro decor. We opted to eat inside as it was humid the night we dined, but outdoor seating was nice. Our server was amazing (unfortunately we didn't get his name). He took time to explain the menu & was very attentive without hovering. Great selections on the menu & wine list. My husband & I both loved our meals & wine choices (tricolore salade, gnocchi with tomato cream sauce & mushrooms, salmon special, limoncello cake, house Chardonnay) & would order those again & yet there were many other options that we wanted to try. I would definitely return for another wonderful evening at Trattoria Lanni!

Vraiment un très bon repas ! Restaurant où je retourne souvent! Le veau farci était excellent, assiette généreuse , service impeccable! La sauce tomate accompagnant les escargots était vraiment super! Bravo!
Pasta & pizza was amazing... I am so happy I found it !! The owner is very personable & staff all friendly !! I am definitely coming back!!! Just watch out for the hot chili sauce !!! It was the bomb!!! Hot hot hot !!!! Use sparingly!!!
Belle ambiance & bon service! Nous avons goûté aux pâtes & à la pizza. Pâtes délicieuses, j'aurais bien aimé des pâtes fraîches malheureusement, mais sauce impeccable! Pizza cuite au four à bois merveilleuse en bouche!!
We were satisfied with our dinner. The calamari were light & tender. Needed a little bit of salt coming out of the fryer.
The veal involitni was good but a little bland. The gnocchi was a better choice, soft little pillows in a creamy sauce.
The restaurant substituted our wine , not available that night, for a similar one. I was surprised that the original wine & price was on my bill.
I have to assume that the price was the same for their substitution.
In the 60 years they have been around they have only gotten better. Delicious simplicity & authenticity in the food that is served. Best calamari in the Montreal area & the Involtini di Vitello were tender & well seasoned in a rich mushroom sauce. Want real Italian food like Nonna would make? Head over to Trattoria Lanni.
Lanni is an addiction. I need my fix at least twice a month. Had the mussels in marinara to share for the table then that delicious branzino in lemon sauce!!
