Dining at Trattoria Lani was a truly heartwarming experience. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, inviting ambiance made us feel like we were guests in a charming Italian home. The service was warm, attentive, & genuine-our server made us feel cared for without being overbearing.
We started with a classic Margherita pizza, which was fresh & flavorful, with a perfectly blistered crust & vibrant tomato sauce. The prosciutto & arugula pizza was a standout-salty, peppery, & beautifully balanced. The gnocchi was light & pillowy, served in a rich sauce that made every bite melt in your mouth. The tortellini quattro formaggi was indulgent & satisfying, with a creamy cheese blend that hit all the right notes.
Every dish was executed with love & authenticity. Trattoria Lani isn't just a place to eat-it's a place to relax, connect, & enjoy truly great Italian food.

I recently dined at this incredible Italian restaurant & was blown away by the delicious food & warm atmosphere. The homemade lasagna was a standout dish, perfectly layered with rich sauce & melted cheese. Each bite was a burst of authentic Italian flavors that left me craving more. The service was impeccable, & the staff made me feel like a valued guest. I can't wait to return for another amazing meal at this five-star establishment. Grazie mille!

We recently visited Trattoria Lanni for the first time a few weeks ago. We'll definitely be back! The food was excellent, the service was attentive & the general ambience was really warm & inviting. Not your "big box" Italian restaurant....It's authentic & delicious. My husband LOVED his seafood linguini. Hoping to make this our neighbourhood favourite.
The food is excellent! We have never been disappointed eating out at this authentic Italian restaurant. It was nice to see the ambiance returning after having such a difficult 2 years. The service matches the food & ambiance. We often bring our out-of-town friends here! Highly recommend!
This is a truly authentic Italian restaurant. I was able to buy a Montepulciano by the glass. I'd never heard of this before. The whole meal was like eating in Italy's Tuscany region. I'd just returned from that area. A very pleasant experience from start to finish.

In the 60 years they have been around they have only gotten better. Delicious simplicity & authenticity in the food that is served. Best calamari in the Montreal area & the Involtini di Vitello were tender & well seasoned in a rich mushroom sauce. Want real Italian food like Nonna would make? Head over to Trattoria Lanni.
The welcome is warm, the cuisine is authentic home-made Italian food & the service is very attentive & the atmosphere make you feel like you are part of the family. Highly recommended.
Amazing food & service!! We stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant on our travels a few years ago when we were staying at a nearby hotel & it was so delicious, that I couldn't wait to go back if we ever got the chance. We were traveling from Quebec city to Ottawa recently & decided to plan our route home do that we could have dinner here again & it did not disappoint!! Still as wonderful as I remember. Had the spaghetti & meatballs & you could tell it was made with real authentic Italian sauce. Can't wait to go back!!
