Last night I ordered a pizza for pickup from La Villetta. Somehow mistakes were made & I was given the wrong one. I consider this more my fault for not checking it before leaving the restaurant but when I got home I called them & they sent their delivery person to my door with a fresh pizza. This kind of service is really not common & I really appreciated it. After all of that I sat down & ate an amazing pizza I highly recommend it. Toppings plentiful, well done like I asked. Will definitely be going back. Reasonable prices in this economy too make it extremely worth it.
August 2025 update: the picture was added to show how perfect my pizza was tonight. This restaurant never disappoints me!!!
I've been to the restaurant twice so far. Last year, the food was a letdown, but this year it was good.
For starters, I had the soup; a chicken broth with vegetables (tomato & a couple of others). It was very average. Table d'hôte is like 2/3 extra dollars so its whatever.
I ordered the table d'hôte rigatoni with a meatball. It was good, the sauce was a bit undersalted, but the herb mix in the tomato sauce was nice, & when combined with the melted cheese, it made for a tasty combination. The meatball, however, was a bit overwhelming, slightly dry on the inside, & lacking in flavor. Not bad overall, but I would have preferred smaller meatballs with a better cooking method. It seemed oven-cooked rather than pan-fried. Still, it was enjoyable to get a bite of meatball with the rigatoni & cheese would recommend.
My girlfriend had the ravioli. She said she liked it, but I tried one & I'm pretty sure it was frozen. Not a bad option, but I'm not sure I'd pay $25 for it. The sauce was either vodka sauce or some kind of cream sauce, & it was good, but I wouldn't recommend the meat ravioli.
My friend had the carbonara. He said it was good & well-seasoned, but I didn't taste it so I can't say for sure.
The lamb rack looked amazing. It came with spaghetti, & I would definitely order it if I liked lamb (I don't). My friend said it was cooked exactly to his request, with a well-seared crust that trapped the juices inside, just waiting to be released when cut open. Delicious, according to him.
The most underrated dish here is probably the pizza. I forgot how good it was & didn't order it this time, but maybe I should have. It's more of a'fancy' pizza (the kind you eat with a fork & knife) but it looks great: not too oily, generously topped, rich in flavor, with low cheese content on a crispy flatbread-style crust.
Overall, this restaurant is a solid spot to try on a weeknight if you live in the area. I wouldn't drive across the city for it, but you'll likely get a table right away, be promptly served, & enjoy good food, making for a solid 4/5 experience.
This is awesome place! First of all the price for food is too good. For both people u can spent 50-60 dollars & have a great dinner. Second - the waitress! The older woman 👵 was insane! Super polite & cute! Third - delicious & tasty food! Also we got a garlic bread for taste as a compliment & it was awesome! Highly recommend! Will come back!
First time we eat here & it was truly fantastic! The food, the service, the feeling of being at home! Love it & recommend it for everyone

The place is comfortable, the waitress was really sweet & the food was amazing! It’s an Italian experience in Saint-Laurent, I do recommend!
