Tong Por Restaurant, auparavant situé dans le quartier chinois de Montréal a récemment déménagé à Ville St-Laurent. On y offre une fine cuisine asiatique dans un endroit spacieux pouvant accueillir jusqu`à 600 convives. Au menu, des spécialités issues de deux grandes traditions culinaires : Chine et Thaïlande. Spécialités: le canard laqué, poulet General Tao, Dim Sum. Le tout dans un décor typique tout à fait charmant.

Saturday evenings can be particularly crowded, with a bustling dining area filled with eager customers. Parking can be challenging, as the small lot is shared with the nearby C&T Supermarket & other stores, often leaving visitors searching for a spot. Despite this, the quality of food & lively ambiance make it worth the visit.Voir plus

Let me by saying that this was one of my most favorite restaurants, would go there once a month, but the last 2 times was not the greatest. Went this week & for supper, hoping the food would be better then the last time we went. Unfortunately it was not, I would order the peanut butter dumplings as they are so delicious, to find pieces of pork fat which was never the case it would only be shrimp inside, the dough was not even cooked asked the waitress if they had a new chef as the food did not taste the same. The manager came over, & all he said was SO YOU ARE NOT HAVING THIS & JUST TOOK THE PLATES AWAY, THAT WE DID NOT LIKE(EXTREMELY RUDE). Even though he has seen us many times. It's unfortunate but I will not be going back. The waitress on the other hand was very apologetic, as this was not her fault. So sad but that was my last time. Management stop cutting corners on the food you used to serve, as it used to be extremely good.Voir plus

Did my wedding at Tong Por. Service was incredible, the chosen 10 course-meals were all fantastic, & my guests loved it. I've also been a guest at many weddings held in Tong Por, my experience has always been stellar & the food has always been super tasty & enjoyable. Aside from the wedding events, I've eaten at tong por many times too. They offer a wide variety of meals, & the quality of the food & the service is simply outstanding. Tong Por has been our go-to for Dimsum since we discovered that one needn't drive to where the majority of such restaurants are, pay more, have fun [not] finding parking, paid or not for the difference between the two. Here one can eat to one's heart's content &, other than on weekends, easily use the parking lot. There are side streets & other places to park which are no more than a 5-minute walk from there. The menu is broad & you can also go there & order, like in any other restaurant.Voir plus
