When we arrived, there were literal pieces of glass on the floor near our table, which already made things feel unsafe & poorly handled. The place was also very packed when we got there, & since we were seated with a view of the kitchen, we could actually see the back, the cooks were moving extremely slowly while orders kept piling up, which probably explains the wait.
We ordered food & waited over an hour even though the café didn't seem to be turning tables quickly. Meanwhile, people seated after us, including a group in the back, received their meals way before we did. No one checked in on us or explained the delay the entire time.
We finally got up to leave because we were starving & only then staff told us our food was'almost ready.' After waiting that long, that was honestly frustrating to hear.
We ended up only having a matcha & left hungry. There was no real apology & no attempt to make up for the situation, no discount, no gesture, nothing. The space is beautiful, but the service & organization were really lacking. Spending that much time somewhere just to leave hungry shouldn't happen.
Had a great experience at Tommy Café! The food was delicious & the drinks were amazing-fresh, well made, & full of flavor. Everything was on point.
A special mention to Alexis, our waitress, who was absolutely adorable & so serviable. She was attentive, kind, & made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend & will be coming back! ☕?✨
Went to Tommy Café with my friend & loved it. The staff was super nice & helped me choose the pistachio hazelnut cortado, which I wouldn't normally choose. It was amazing & looked so fancy. Would 100% go back
We visit Tommy Cafe very often but the last couple of times I don't understand what happened to the place…worst service & tasteless food.Not worth it on spending any $ to this place.
C'est relativement bon mais...le café filtre régulier amer en supplément à 3.50$ !!! Inclus'avec le plat c'est inacceptable, mais là, à ce prix !!!
&'la totale', 22$ pour une assiette remplie de pain toast ordinaire à peine trempé dans le sirop, que dire...
La shakshuka, en revanche, était bonne..

Good food, but far too expensive. The staff was obnoxious & inattentive. The music was tacky & played way too loudly as the volume was often raised to the point of being inconsiderate. There's far nicer places to go to in Montreal than an overpriced & gaudy café attached to a mall food court.
Really cute cafe with a chill vibe & variety of options. Staff were super friendly, it's a nice spot to relax or get some work done. Will definitely be coming back.
J'ai toujours aimé manger au Tommy Café ! La nourriture est excellente par contre le service n'a jamais été leur fort (je crois que les serveurs ont aucune expérience) j'y suis retourné dernièrement on nous a mentionné que les propriétaires avait changer ( aucune boisson alcoolisée / la moitié du menu était non disponible a cause d'un bris ) le serveurs très gentil par contre nous l'a mentionné plus tard quand nos choix était fait dommage … est ce que je vais y retourner ? peut etre a une autre location

I've visited this cafe multiple times & I always appreciate its charming decor & cozy ambiance. The coffee they serve is consistently top-notch, although their pastry selection is somewhat limited, the croissants are consistently delightful & fresh. I particularly enjoy their smoothies & highly recommend their ice matcha lattes - they're my personal favorite. While the food choices are somewhat limited, the quality is satisfactory. The cafe excels in creating a welcoming atmosphere, & the staff is incredibly friendly & attentive. I highly recommend this spot for a delightful drink & a chance to soak in the picturesque decor.
I was very impressed with the food here, the portions were very generous & super flavourful. This was my first time as I often avoid going to Fairview food court but honestly, the noise levels did not bother me, I found the cafe quite charming. Would recommend & I have been dreaming about the tuna toast ever since I had it!!
