Review Summary

Tommy Café is described as a charming, cozy spot with a calm vibe that many reviews appreciate for a relaxing coffee break or a quiet work spot, though some find the ambience a bit lacking. Coffee and pastries are frequently praised, with several mentions of a good latte, cappuccino, croissants and appealing brunch options, while a few drinks are noted as average or the service can be slow. Food receives mixed feedback: breakfasts and brunch are tasty with decent portions, but lunches and certain dishes are sometimes underwhelming or overpriced and vegan options are limited to a single bowl. Service is described as friendly and attentive by many, but there are notes of delays, order mixups, and uneven experiences. The decor and atmosphere are repeatedly highlighted as instagrammable or pleasant, making it a good place to relax, meet, or work, while some reviewers appreciate the peaceful environment over more crowded spots. Overall Tommy Café comes across as a dependable, low-key option for coffee and casual meals with some variability in menu value and execution depending on the day.

I must admit, I approached this cafe & Italian place with a hint of skepticism, unsure of what to expect. However, from the moment I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The cozy ambiance immediately put me at ease. As I settled in, I couldn't help but notice the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air, drawing me towards the counter. Their lattes are simply divine & let's not forget about their pizzas - perfectly thin crusts adorned with a symphony of fresh ingredients that dance harmoniously on the palate. What truly sets this place apart is its versatility. Whether you're in need of a quiet spot to study or work during the day, or craving a hearty Italian dinner in the evening, this place has you covered. The seamless transition from coffee to cuisine makes it the ideal destination for any time of day. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this cafe & Italian place to anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience paired with a cozy atmosphere. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! A bit note for the restaurant renew your menus they seems old

It is a good place to study. I highly recommend to not go between 6 to closing time because there is a lot of people. It is hard to find space to sit. Overall, the food is good. The staff is very friendly & it is very aesthetic. This coffee shop is located near McGill, so it is the perfect place for people who study in downtown.
