Tommy Café ressort comme un spot de brunch prisé, lumineux et cosy, avec une décoration soignée et une ambiance chaleureuse qui crée une expérience agréable pour des matinées ou des après-midi entre amis ou en famille. La carte offre une grande variété de plats généreux et bien présentés, du avocado toast et des eggs Benedict aux options grecques ou shakshuka, accompagnés d'un café souvent apprécié pour sa qualité; les portions sont généreuses et le rapport qualité-prix est jugé correct par beaucoup. Le service est globalement sympathique et attentif, mais peut devenir lent lorsque l établissement est très fréquenté, et certains estiment que ce manque de fluidité nuit à l'expérience. Des témoignages mettent en avant l énergie du lieu et le cadre attractif proche du vieux port, mais d'autres remarquent des occasions où certains plats ne répondent pas exactement aux attentes ou des tarifs plus élevés. I had really great drinks at Tommy! & the prices were really good - $5 for shots & $10 for wine spritzers. The owner was extremely friendly & checked on us a couple times. Service was a bit slower with the waiter - we asked for the bill & found ourselves waiting for 20 minutes & then needing to go up to him to ask again. Though, think this may be in general around Montreal. I would come again for the drinks & hope to try the food next time!!
The food & the breakfast coffees/teas were to die for at Tommy Cafe! We waited about 5 minutes for a seat; the turnover time was incredible & efficient. Food was scrumptious, but my sisters said their tea & coffee were unbelievable! It's a tight space, but incredibly cozy & comfortable. Team members were so great & fast. We were so impressed by this spot.
We were wandering old town, which is absolutely delightful, & decided to stop for a coffee. We were delighted by this lovely coffee store & their amazing barista. The coffee was amazing & added such a nice touch to our wander. Highly recommend the lattes at Tommy .
Cozy place for brunch - our first visit & choose this by googling for a breakfast place. No regrets! the food was amazing & you can tell it was made with passion. We had the Suzy Rise & Melted down. Coffee was fresh & delicious! Service was average not issue with us because they were super busy on a Saturday - it was crazy! Would recommend to anyone!
Food was very delicious. Cappuccino & Mochaccino were both good. The ambiance & atmosphere is very welcoming. Service was as good as it can get considering how busy the cafe is. I really liked the open kitchen. Highly recommend this cafe for breakfast or brunch.
The food was simple but good! The atmosphere was pretty chill & well decorated. The staff was very friendly & the service was fast! The iced tea was okay nothing to crazy

Had satuarday morning brunch in Sept in this little Cafe in old Montreal, apparently part of a chain of cafes in Montreal, this particular one was very busy with great upbeat ambience & lot of plants all around & good energetic background music that reminds me of Tony Robbins events, We ordered the Truffle Benedict, which is a egg benedict with truffle hollandaise sauce,, & Emma, which is a grilled cheese with tomato soup, We also ordered 2 Lucky Tommy Latte, which had lucky charm cheerios in them, & I thoroughly enjoyed it ( it's basically like having breakfast cereal with whipped cream & coffee at the same time, extremely efficient lol) A negative is that the food takes really long time to come out when they are busy, so if you are in a hurry this might not be a good choice for you. Will definitely recommend if you are staying in Old Montreal for brunch, it would start your day in a great way👍
fell in love with this place on our last trip to Montreal! amazing almond croissant & the eggs benedict was wow, loved their avocado on fresh bread, will be our go to when we are back. Staff were so friendly, great coffee with macadamia nut milk. good vegan options! amazing!

I stopped here on a whim for brunch. This little spot is loud, & small & absolutely charming. The service is friendly, the portions are large & the price is affordable. The food was perfectly cooked & beautifully presented. I recommend this cafe.
The food was excellent! The employees were so kind & the food came super fast! Most cafes we've been to here were fast-food like, but this is very authentic & all the food is fresh. Best crossiant I've ever had, the truffle benetic was amazing & & the crossiant breakfast sandwich was exquisite! Would 100% recommend! Even the food comes with salads with a sauce that tastes like truffle, delicious 😋 Food was organic & healthy, & the veggies tasted right from the farm. The pastries were also very fresh & tasted like they just came out of a batch with a sweet hint & soft delightment. You HAVE to come here! ❤️ to Tommy's Cafe!
I wanted to try a new place for breakfast with a friend today & we decided to try Tommy. The atmosphere & the service was ok. BUT! The food was veeeery disappointing. For starters it was overpriced, but, ok, let's say it was expected from the old port. But I was like: "come on guys you can't charge so much & not deliver with food, at least make an effort..." I ordered the Falafel dish.... If you call a whole dish "falafel" maybe it is a good idea to put a bit mire than 3 very sad bolls of falafel...? The falafel itself was super dry like a stone, like it was made bad or from yesterday. My friend ordered a salmon bagel. It was very mediocre. I won't be coming back.
I got a latte & a croissant to go before we left the city. The shop is so cute & cozy, & the coffee & pastry were delicious. I don't speak French so was slightly nervous about traveling to Montreal from the customer perspective - but I had to mention that everyone here was SO sweet & welcoming while I ordered & waited despite the cafe being busy.
